"change is coming"?

do they, um, remember that the Republicans already have the White House and have driven this country into the ground?

I love how their new idea is that in order to vote for change you can vote in the same people that have been running things for close to the last decade.

Bad move McCain. If people want change, they are going to vote for Obama, not you. If people want a president who is good at crashing airplanes into power lines they will vote for you.

Come on eskimo... You're better than that.

Yes, terrible move when you blame your party for not doing more while they had control.

Alright, I don't know if this is true, but someone just told me McCain was a POW. Confirmation, anyone?

Why do people have such a hard on for drilling? That being said, I'm all for more nuc-ular plants.

You have a hydrogen fuel cell ready for mass production tomorrow or alternatives for the billions of regular day items that are made with some form of a petroleum product?

Whatever happened to conservation? When I'm running low on cash, I budget better -- I don't open a new line of credit.

We need more fuel efficient cars and better public transportation in some cities. Bring on more hybrids. Bring us more diesel-powered vehicles. CONSERVE.

someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought McCain's approach was invest in alternative energy and encourage conservation for the long-term, and open up drilling because there's no replacement for oil on the immediate future and even if we do develop one, oil will probably still be needed for things.

It is his plan but since it is better than the Obama plan to any sane person. For that reason the Obama lovers must discredit his great plan.

I hadn't noticed much difference.

Bush was against drilling and switched. McCain followed. Obama sorta followed. I think that is the logic everyone is going to settle on eventually.

When has Bush been against anything the Oil industry wanted?

The plan is working to perfection. Palin plays to the base and McCain can play to the center. It was one hell of a 1-2 punch the last 2 nights.

Why does the audience keep chanting "USA, USA, USA...". I thought the Olympics was over already.

He should have spent more time on bringing back diplomacy and skipped the stuff that happened when I was in diapers.

Better than I expected. His writers were on their game (for the most part), and his delivery was much more natural than usual. If he could just stop repeating "My friends..."

Compared to last night, the crowd is asleep.

So much for ending it on a high note.

The pundits will tear it all down shortly.
