Are you serious? I don't think he's improved at all. He's robotic and very obvious about reading the teleprompter. I don't know if it's his vision but it seems like it takes him a second to focus on the teleprompter to start speaking. And he's still delivering some lines followed by the creepy smiles now and then. In short, he looks uncomfortable.

He's not a great orator, I wasn't expecting Cicero reincarnate. Considering how stiff he can be, I think he exceeded expectations.
FWIW, he developed some cadence despite the interruptions (which Palin couldn't) and kept the creepy smile in check. Mostly.

Maybe he benefits from the "soft bigotry" of my "low expectations".
