Roaches in my apartment.

Been living here about a month and I've noticed roaches. Most of them are no bigger than 3/4 inches. But I've seen smaller ones on a wall here and there, and one bigger one, about 1.25 inches. Quite frankly it grosses me out and pisses me off. The aparment complex is actually pretty nice, its just this little pest problem i am having
They have done pest control on the outside, and I called them to have them spray inside my apartment. Supposedly they did it thursday, but I dont know how to tell. I am still noticing roaches, most i find dead, some are still alive though, I saw one last night crawling on the ceiling
Is there anything I can do to get rid of them?

It's the landlords responsibility. Don't spend any of your own money, just bug the hell out of them until they fix it.

Buy a couple cocks from china town. They should take care of the roaches if you don't mind them shedding all over your apt.

you can tolerate alot in life, but no one should have to rent a roach den for an apt.
Landlords who lets apts get roach infested tend to be the ones who will not pay for professional exterminations.
you have a slumlord.move.

You just wanted to say "cock", didn't you?

OP: Keep on your landlords about it if you keep seeing roaches. Tell them you want a professional company there to do it.

Nothing you can do. Those little bastards move from apt to apt. If your neighbors are slobs you will ALWAYS have them. The building is infested--move.

Go to the store and buy a can of raid and spray all around the perimeter of your place inside and out including windows and doors. Spray really well under sinks and in the kitchen and bathroom. Just dont buy those roach trap/roach motel things b/c they will actually attract more roaches.

Peppermint soap. Dilute 1:2 with water and send your kids or friends around the apartment spraying every nook and cranny. Smells good, no chemicals, and the bugs HATE it.

Dont have to be a slob to have roaches in your home.

never had roaches, but we lived in our last apartment for two years, and the second year we lived there, the place became infested with bedbugs. It was one of the worst years of my life, waking up with mosquito like bites all over my body that would take days to vanish.
