I usually get the other party to chase me as I lead them to a police HQ, while on video. When they realize they are pulling into the parking lot of the police HQ they hit the brakes and I flip them off one last time.
The reason you drive a 400 HP car is that you're a sad, insecure manlet that's hung like a mosquito. It's the same reason guys collect guns, but that's a different thread. Most road road incidents are in heavy traffic and in bumper to bumper rush hour 400hp doesn't get you away any faster.
LOL, I have to admit that I've done this before and I taught my oldest to do this. Never bring aholes to your home. I'm done with crazy and If they follow me, I drive their ass straight to the police station. I never show where I live and let them show their asses at a police station. They always drive off when they realize where I'm pulling in to. I'm always in front because I drive a 400+hp car and GagHalfrunt says I should drive something slower. I feel ashamed over the interwebs?I usually get the other party to chase me as I lead them to a police HQ, while on video. Theres a reason why I drive a 400+ hp car. They cant stay mad If they cant keep up
The other day I saw a Camaro zl1 with a plate that said "m3erica". No joke, lol.
i think the videos from russia might be doing it to try to get my by insurance fraud. i've heard that is quite common there, so people have to buy dashcams to have evidence.
That's what I was thinking as most of them weren't even bothering to get out of the way. A lot of the cams seemed to be higher up like they were on trucks.
I also take it that rear ending someone is automatically your fault.
I think all states need to officially adopt a pretty basic principle for traffic control: use the left lane to pass and if you are not passing someone, then you should be in the right lane.
I hate it when some ass is in the left lane, doing 10-15 under the limit, not giving a tinker's cuss about the 12 car convoy that has formed behind them. But I also hate it when another ass puts their bumper 3" away from mine while I'm actively passing other vehicles, acting like I'm impeding traffic because I'm not also doing 28 over the limit. Someone being in a hurry doesn't negate the need for safe following distances.
I'm the type of person that always drives either at or 3-5mph over the speed limit, depending on the area.
With advent of dash cams it's not necessarily automatic.
I drove transport and when you have a heavy load; you can't brake as fast a 4 wheeler.
A lot of impatient drivers expect transports to accelerate quickly,,,,, we can't,,,many will retaliate by brake checking the truck.
The front bumper on a Freightliner wins everytime.

I tailgate semis and other huge vehicles for the same reason. I figure they need more distance to stop, so if anything should happen, the semi will serve as a battering ram and clear the way. For some reason, truck drivers don't get that and hate it when I tailgate them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯I only ever drove a heavily loaded delivery drunk (no cdl) but it was crazy to me how few people took physics into consideration when driving around me. Like the idea that I might need more distance to stop was an absurd notion or something.
So I had one on the way into work today. I was at a stop light and the small stretch of road in front of me goes from two lanes down to one. I was in the left lane. White work E-350 in the right. He tries to race me to the next light so he can cut in front of me. There is plenty of room behind me so I don't let him. He gets pretty agitated. Me - always being the mature person that I am - de-escalate the situation by pointing and laughing at him. He follows me and I help by using my hand to point in the direction I am turning on my way to work. I was hoping he would follow me all the way to the parking garage. Its a secured, monitored garage for ~500 cars and the local police department not only has a few spaces there but I usually see a few cop cars pulling out of the garage from a shift change when I arrive (this morning was no exception). Sadly his driving skills were subpar and he got stuck behind some traffic. I gave him a friendly wave when he decided to stop following me
I'm not sure what his end game was. It takes a special level of stupid to do that in a work vehicle.
