Road Runner service

I plan on getting road runner service soon and I was wondering if Time Warner still charges $60/month if you don't get their cable tv service, instead of the regular $45/month price? I checked this website:http://www.timewarnercable.com...ackagesandpricing.html but there is no mention of it.

I paid $30 for the first 6 months, then it went to a rate of $35.99. Fair enough for me, I guess. I just gotta make sure i get my money's worth.

It's $29 for the slowest service, $39 for the 6mb service, and $49 for the 12mb (or whatever speed it is) service in SoCal.

If you have cable TV, they take $10 off each plan (including the cable TV so $20 off).

My Road Runner junk e-mail has shot up exponentially over the last two months. All my other e-mail accounts that I POP through MS Outlook have stayed consistent (i.e., one or two junk e-mails a day). I use discardable e-mail addresses for all suspect websites, use my gmail address for online purchases, and have never used my Road Runner address for anything other than minimal personal e-mail correspondence. Go figure.

Just sign up for Earthlink Cable. Chances are they'll use Roadrunner in your area and it'll probably be cheaper than RR's regular price.

Although, my friend that works at TW said that low use of newsgroups was a factor in shutting them down completely (along with fucking Cuomo :|).

Yeah here I don't think there is a extra charge on internet without cable TV. So the $45/mo you see is right for just internet. It is 5 or 6mbps down here.
