UPDATE:

The detective called me twice on Friday, even though she knew we were moving, to tell me the charges for the perp that hit me with the brick will be Assault 1, which, in her words, is the equivalent of attempted murder. They don't have a visual ID from the front (my neighbor only saw them from the back) but they feel the DNA evidence along with fingerprints will be enough. They are awaiting the results of the tests.

The gash(s) on my head are healing as good as can be expected. The shape of my head is definitely differentI

I still have some symptoms that are very disturbing. It seems they are getting worse, not better. I plan on giving the doc a call tomorrow.

edit: Oh, and the detective called on the 3rd (moving day) twice, asking for pictures of my wounds. I told her my wife had taken pictures the same day, after I was released from the hospital. Unfortunately the f'ing cable installers didn't show up that day, so I couldn't send them this morning (about 10 pics).

It's nice to have a place to vent my frustrations, worries, and concerns (despite the occasionaly rude comment).
