Browing IMBD to remember some of my favorites...
It's amazing how the death of someone you've never met can really put a dent on your day. Such an amazing dude

Jim Norton said on his Twitter
"There is no way Robin Williams could have seen himself the way everyone saw him. What terribly sad and frustrating news."
So sad... I've watched his stand up, which was brilliant, and loved so many of the rolls he has played over the years both serious and funny.
The world is a less interesting place with him gone. :'(
Some of my favorite movies of his:
Good Will Hunting
Good Morning Vietnam
The World According to Garp
Dead Poets Society
Moscow On the Hudson
The unnatural death of Philip Seymour Hoffmann wasnt too long ago and now this.
It's humbling. All the latest and greatest medical treatments at someone's disposal, all the fame and wealth, but none of that could save him from taking his own life.
You might just end up feeling like the only way to hold onto that money and maintain your livelihood, and even your sense of worth in the eyes of others, is to keep up the persona your public expects. That kind of situation can leave a person feeling trapped, and over time that can lead to some nasty psychological problems.Seriously there needs to be a documentary on celebrities explaining what goes on. Its just so sad seeing an amazing person on the outside be so different on the inside.
I always ask why? Presumably with that much money you could take a step back and fix your problems.
He had an amazing capacity to play serious roles as well, despite his comedic site. I loved him in The Final Cut - such an interesting movie, especially with everyone constantly posting photos on Facebook, GoPros recording all of our activities, etc.
As many people say, all that money and fame is part of the problem. Some people say too much leisure, luxury and free time is a big factor as wellSeriously there needs to be a documentary on celebrities explaining what goes on. I never saw that movie. I'll have to check it out.
