KC store near Oak Park Mall. It was $71.99 just a few days ago and I talked myself out of it. Saw the shelf tag of $47.99 and some switch in my brain flipped.

I also got one today in Reno NV for $48. It was marked 71.99 on the shelf but rang up for $52.?? including tax and a coke. I am going to be using this to house my Windows HomeServer or a Server for my wifes business. All the fans are marked Lian Li. Comes with 3 120 MM fans, space for 6 hardrives, a bunch of DVD Roms. This case is HUGE.

Here in Phx i asked a clerk to do a price check which came back for $119. When i told him about the clearance prices at other stores he hten pulled the stock and prices for all stores in the area Friday night. Because of rush hour I waited until Sat. to check the Awahtukee store where they had 4 cases for $72. When I got there it rang up for $47.99 or $51 with tax. North Scottsdale supposedly had 5 cases. Good luck and it is a very, very nice case.

Found 2 on the shelf in San Marcos, CA - BUT at $119

A "nearby" store check revealed all So. Cal stores are still priced at $119.

Nearest clearance price was $48 in Hawaii !!!! :shocked:

BTW, is it just me or is this a good deal even at $120? I think the interior layout is better than Lian Li's other cases of the same size. If I needed a new case, or if it was on sale around me, I'd buy it.

It is a really big case. I've placed 4 hardrives in it, with room to grow. A downside, although not a big one, is the lack of a motherboard tray. The case is large enough though, that is not a real reason to not consider this case. I've currently got 2.25 TB of storage and as the drives go on sale, I will add a couple of more. It really is a great case for a WHS, although it is mamoth. Housing my old FX55 CPU, Abit MB, Corsair 550VX Power Supply.

i took my receipt back to bb today & got the new $47.99 price...

there were 6 left in the greenwood, indiana store when i left (you have to look up high to see them)...

what a deal!...maybe use the money saved to get a side window & maybe put in a blow hole...

6-8 left in westfield store, indiana-woot to the midwesterners.... Gonna mod mine as well. May buy 2 so I can do a build up later for a friend. A blow hole on top wouldnt be too bad but may use the case for my upcoming WC project, cant decide between this case or the Armour I have lying around. Dont hesitate to ask for a manager if the rep says no.

I don't think there is anything NOT to love about it. No sharp edges, vibration dampers on the drives, case fans I can barely hear. My only issue is the headphone/mic jacks are really tight so it's hard to plug things in. My lord it IS huge though.

Regarding the motherboard tray, I read here (see post by "Jackeroo75" on 3/11 @ 00:54:45) that it is removable by removing the front screws (& reading the manual...hehehe)...can anyone confirm?
They say there's 3-120mm fans in this thing...is one of them the removable fan over the PCI slots?
Also, you guys around Greenwood, IN & Westfield, IN...what are y'all paying?
The closest Indiana store to me that's showing them in stock on the web is Evansville & I don't know if they'll price match to those stores or not.

with respect to Jackeroo75, he is mistaken...the motherboard tray is not removable (unless you're going to rip/cut it out!)...please note that in that same thread the .pdf of the manual is posted & there is no mention of such a thing being possible...& there are no front screws on the tray haha...i believe he may have meant the front door or front cover...also, like i mentioned in an earlier post, i got mine at the greenwood, indiana store...as of yesterday they had 6...go in, go towards the display (to the right of the video cards), look for the $47.99 tag, then turn around & look up...they're up top...

hope this helps...


oh, & the removable fan over the pci slots IS one of the 3 120mm fans...i'm considering adding a blow hole &/or a window w/a fan once i determine which model will fit...
