I removed the door. Much better. It's a very well made door, and feels good to close and open, but got annoying.

Only thing I miss is the lack of a clear side panel, which I think I'm going to do up anyhow. Just need to find a place around town that does custom laser or water cutting on metal sheets. I don't even want to try it with a dremel. Even thinking about it I know I would go though 20+ cutting wheel if I tried.

Investigate the cost of getting your panel cut, window cost, and time. Then compare that total cost to Lian-Li manufactured replacement windowed panels that both Performance PCs and Frozen PC carry. While the panels are about the cost of the Rocketfish case at the $47 price, the panels are actual Lian-Li replacement panels and would save the original panel for other uses or emergency replacement.
Links to Lian-Li windowed panels....both with and without vents:
Lian-Li windowed side panel at Performance PCs.
Lian-Li windowed and vented side panel at Performance PCs.
Lian-Li windowed side panel at Frozen PCs... but I don't know what happened to the price. It was $39.99 two days ago.....today it's $69.99. Possibly a pricing error....I'd ask them if interested in this panel.
Lian-Li windowed and vented side panel at Frozen PCs.
Depending upon where you live, I'd guestimate prices after shipping added to be around $62-$65 for the vented windowed panels. May be worth the price, may not....but these are genuine Lian-Li replacement panels, not some cobbled up panels by the respective sellers.
EDIT: Woah! 30 bucks for shipping... the cheapest shipping option, too!

These have finally dropped to $49.99 at some Utah stores. Picked one up at the Murray store yesterday.
Here in Phx i asked a clerk to do a price check which came back for $119. When i told him about the clearance prices at other stores he hten pulled the stock and prices for all stores in the area Friday night. Because of rush hour I waited until Sat. to check the Awahtukee store where they had 4 cases for $72. When I got there it rang up for $47.99 or $51 with tax. North Scottsdale supposedly had 5 cases. Good luck and it is a very, very nice case.
