With modern steel, we might as well call it that. Very little wrought iron is produced anymore.

I've heard that. Most things sold as "wrought iron" are mild steel. Do you know why that is? I'd think it would still have a significant niche use, and for me not knowing anything, wouldn't expect it would be significantly more difficult to produce than steel.
