When I go to an expensive restraunt, I probably tip more than your entire meal is.. sooooooooooo that throws your theory for a loop.

I REALLY wish DaimlerChrysler would have taste-tested a few more exterior designs before sending these down the assembly line. Maybachs are not very good looking at all, IMHO (something like a Hyundai Sonata from the front and a Hyundai XG300 from the rear). These make the latest BMW 7ers look like timeless beauties by comparison... for the cash, I'd take a RR Silver Phantom anyday of the week. Again, that's just my $0.02.

Of course, if it's supposed to be "exclusive" then there will always be an artificial desire for them among the rich (and especially among the admirers of the rich). Gotta love America's mob mentality tendencies.

Thx for the pix tho, few mags gave so many up-close shots.

If I had that much cash to spend on a car I would buy a ferrari instead of a maybach anyday. Such a waste.

Y'know what I'd buy?

A HOUSE.

Then, with the 50K left over from buying a decent-sized house around where I live, I could buy a Mazdaspeed RX-7 when it comes out. More sex appeal than a maybach, and more practical

Wow...didn't think I could ever say that about a RX-7...but it's true. Why spend 350K american (closer to half a mil canadian) on a fvcking sedan? You could buy an AMG or three, which probably has more performance than a Maybach, and still have money left over for things such as....

1)Gas.
2)Gas.
3)Maintenance.
4)Gas.

Shockingly enough, not all people have to live like you and have the expendible income to buy what they want. They probably aren't going to worry about the cost of gas or maintenence on this, or any other, vehicle.

Life is so unfair, that some people are so excessive with their wealth while others are living from paycheck to paycheck. But then again, I suppose they have the right to be so excessive since they probably worked harder to get where they are.

Read my first post.

Also, people don't care about fuel prices (enough) once they are in this class of richness.

If you are rich, and you were driving around in a RX-7, so people might call you down to earth, but some people might call you stingy.

I have noticed on thing though: those that are rich, don't need to show it, and they will often not buy such cars. Those that are not nearly as rich (rap stars included) need to show of their money, and be "wannabe".

On a related note: what does Bill G drive?

I've heard that he has a jet pack which he uses to get around, by the way it's made out of gold from what I hear, and accented with some diamonds. but last time on some news show, he was driving some med-class SUV (I believe it was a Jeep Cherokee).

Yeah but that car can barely fit in their driveway.

It barely fits in this driveway too. Must be the car.

There's a huge difference. In one picture the size of the car rivals the size of the house and in the other the car shows good proportion to the size of the house. Also, that driveway may not be wide but it is a huge driveway, befitting a car like that.
