The point, in my opinion, isn't that America is or isn't North Korea. It is the rage at conservatives that lies behind such accusations. The rage is real enough and easily seen as justifiable and that's where the danger lies. He was probably concerned that his students know the Constitution better than him as well, and that they'd basically show the legal arguments that show how he's completely wrong. Then again, they can probably just put his own rulings up and show what a fraud he is.
