Get ready for a lot more of these kinds of stories

As Ohio restricts abortions, 10-year-old girl travels to Indiana for procedure

https://www.dispatch.com/story/news...g-patients-going-indiana-abortion/7788415001/

Red states are going to force minors who are victims of rape and/or abuse to carry to term.
conservatives will justify it with some variation of the following:
"it's part of god's plan"
"the child can be something beautiful to come from something terrible"

it's absolutely disgusting. fuck them. it's a woman's choice to carry a pregnancy. end. of. story.

We are definitely going to get some candidate giving a lengthy explanation about how child rape is somewhat unfortunate but ultimately a beautiful act of creation god has ordained.

Way more than one. They seems to be the default position. Like they had fucking focus groups or some shit that sat around and were like "we got it! Thats the winner!"

Ghouls, the lot of them.

But...but....the birth is just another opportunity and prevents a second trauma.

Well, obviously for anyone who knows my positions, I got the one thing out of this court that I’ve been looking for for over 30 years - the overturn of Roe. And yes, I’m aware of the hell This country is going to in the coming years. That said, many other decisions come out of this court are, and likely more will be, nuts. Some plain destructive to a functional democracy.

As some have mentioned, I’d favor something like a scheme where ~15 justices are appointed but only 9 hear a case chosen by lottery. Also, an age cut off of 70, if it is constitutional. That should prevent 'super majorities' and balance the court. Congress needs to get to work on this, but first, democrats need a better strategy to win more seats over the next 10-20 years.

One must remember that there has been a republican 'project' to drive the American agenda for over 50+ years. They began to find success with the election of Reagan. I think it was @nakedfrog that mentioned that it takes 40 years and $100B to buy the court. I think it was several 100s of Billions. There were many steps along the way, such as the concerted efforts to gain majorities in more state legislatures. When they go low, we go high just isn’t a winning strategy against a party that is waging no holds barred war.

And shitting up threads? How about you stop trying to bothsides every thread and topic that you post in??

That's obviously not what my message was you lying piece of shit.
You will find NONE of what you claim:
Because you are nothing but a rabid dog lying their ass off.

A little more insight into Congress.
It's certainly a pickle when, even with "control" one is unable to exercise even the most basic legislation.
America is paralyzed and it is dividing us because no one can "win". And a country that cannot vote to deliver change, will find other ways.

First off, I didn't get it over turned, obviously. Secondly, we haven't lost the republic yet Debbie downer .
And what will you say when it does collapse? Will you finally fucking have a moment of contrition and realize your fucking feels don't override human bodily autonomy? Or just say 'whoopsie, I guess everyone else fucked that one up'?

It was gods will and he will be sad about it but still firmly feel justified in his position as it was gods will.

The story doesn't say who impregnated her but I hope they are already in custody. Have any of the states that are celebrating this have any plans on revisiting the punishments for rapists and abusers, or will they just punish the women? For instance wasn't Texas going to crack down on rapists? I'm sure they're making all sorts of headway on that...

Pregnant Alabama woman picks fight gets shot 5X and loses the baby. Stand your ground state so DA declines to prosecute shooter. Pregnant mom gets prosecuted for killing her baby.

Just love me some GOP justice.

I obviously hit a nerve there for you to come out with that kind of projection, sparky.

And yes...you DO bothsides goddamn near everything. You are just screaming in denial, when everyone else knows your typical tripe. Fuck off, clown.

No one thing about God in that post, but, here you go again.

@Ajay You must be so proud.

Was I involved in what happened there in ANY way. No. I guess spending 1/2 my adult life mainly voting for Republicans, and the other 1/2 voting mainly for Democrats makes me responsible for everything. Just peachy.

Have anyone thought about starting a new faith? With some commandments like
- Thou shall shame all the MAGA's
- Thou shall slay all the worshippers of magic men in skies.
- Thou shall punish morons like <insert name list here>
- ....
- Thou shall not believe in the supernatural. You fucking idiot.

Sort of surprised the cops didn't plant a tiny bag of coke on the fetus. Would really have tied things together.
