The only difference is the 10 year old was able to travel to another state to get an abortion, if every state does what you want then that 10 year old would be forced to carry a baby to term. What about the 10 year olds that don't have the means to travel out of Gilead?
The story doesn't say who impregnated her but I hope they are already in custody. Have any of the states that are celebrating this have any plans on revisiting the punishments for rapists and abusers, or will they just punish the women?
