Ending gerrymandering? Expanding the Court in order to make those things possible? Unless the whole system is substantially rebuilt the future is minority rule if not in perpetuity then for a very long time. If the Democrats think the answer is more people voting for them, shouldn't they be addressing the problems that render those votes ineffectual?
What I find sickening is the hypocrisy from pro lifers. The pro lifers in my extended family all have partaken at some point and in some way with assisting with an abortion.
My Trumpie sister back in the 1980s PAID out of her own pocket $150 so that my youngest sister could get an abortion after she was knocked up by her loser worthless then boyfriend. And more recently my great niece, a single mother of two kids living in a two room rental, found herself knocked up by some guy she came across online. And she was so ignorant to later claim I DIDN'T KNOW YOU COULD GET PG HAVING SEX ONLY ONE TIME. And she already has two kids under 10 years.....
So when my niece needed an abortion, her grandmother talked her out of it. With grandma promising to be there and help with the pregnancy both financially and personally. So now my great niece has three young kids all from different fathers. No marriages, no support, nothing from the men involved. But grandma did help with renting a little house for my niece, and is paying for my great niece to continue nursing school.
I pointed out to all of them that AT LEAST when facing an unwanted pregnancy, that they all had A CHOICE. Now, they no longer will have that choice.
And I also pointed out that not every young woman has a built-in support group from the family. Not every woman facing an unwanted pregnancy has a rich grandmother able to pay the rent and pay for continued education.
Because of Trump, and his illegitimate court, thousands of young women.... girls.... will end up having back alley abortions. Exactly as in medieval times. America is becoming a medieval and religious fanatic nation very much like Iraq.

My point was that SCOTUS said subsequent legislation could be used to inform their decision when it came to the 14th amendment but said subsequent legislation could not be used for the 2nd amendment. That they were analyzing abortion in regards to the 14th amendment is irrelevant. Both amendments have equal standing.

The Dr. legally prescribed medication(the same needed for a medication abortion) to induce the evacuation of the embryo and tissue.
The pharmacy kept asking my wife about having a procedure, having an abortion etc, which they had no right to ask about anything, and wouldn’t fill the prescription. It took several days and more documentation from the Doctors office get the script filled. This was a huge invasion of privacy at an incredibly difficult time. We are told we would never have kids 8 years ago and we unexpectedly became pregnant and found out a few days after my 40th birthday. Last thing we needed was this bullshit created by thhe state of Texas. Fucking idiots fail to realize a miscarriage is medically called an abortion in patient records. Just kicking/adding insults to already traumatized people.
