Peter Cushing, who played primary antagonist Grand Moff Tarkin in 1977's "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope", will appear in "Star Wars" anthology movie "Rogue One", Daily Mail reports.
Cushing, who died in 1994 at the age of 81, is being brought back to life for the upcoming movie with the help of sophisticated computer technology.
I think he was a Captain during the Clone Wars.
Yep, it's all the rage. Not to mention minorities. Asian? check. Blacks? check. But no tranny or gays yet? Shame on you, Disney.
Still looks like it has potential though.

Don't worry Sp33d! Disney has pretty much said that the SW universe will have at least 1 gay character in it very soon!
BB8? I saw it eyeing those other robots. Although is it gay if an asexual being has feelings for another asexual being if they don't act on it?
Damn they going all in with the Nazi look.

^^agreed it looks over the top.
"Disney won't take a back seat, and is demanding changes, as the movie isn't testing well."
Which is exactly why I don't know how people got a hard on with the trailer. It didn't look that good at all. Looked like a fan movie.uh oh

"The execs at Disney are not happy with the movie, and Rogue One will have to go back into four weeks of expensive reshoots in July,"

Ya, stories have been popping up about reshoots because the movie sucks. That worked out for Fantastic Four?
Seriously, if they fuq it up with such a hot lead, massive fail.
I've heard that it was to tonally dark and more like a straight up war movie. Batman v Superman should be a good cautionary tale about taking that tack to far. Also, reshoots are by no means uncommon and TFA did them as well.
Ironically, this was what they talked about for this movie from the get-go and why I was so excited for it. Nothing wrong with making a more "serious" Star Wars for one of the anthology movies. Though I get why Disney doesn't want that -- no toy tie-ins etc.
Well TFA wasn't all rainbows and sunshine. A lot of people died...a whole solar system full in fact. In the same vein ANH opened with a bunch of people getting gunned down on a starship and it's captain strangled. I'm sure there is a fine line to be walked between a Zack Snyder style film that is so dark and depressing that you shouldn't be near sharp objects for a while and the tonal goals for the new SW films and their spinoffs.
I'll reserve judgement until I see it.
