So I was poking around to see if there was a mod/trick to see if this could be accomplished, living in FL this would be great, what I found out was that some cars already have this capability by hitting the unlock once then again and hold it down, here is the list on Cnet,

Acura (MDX/TL/TSX/ZDX)
Alfa Romeo (159)
Audi (A1/A3/A4/A6/A7)
BMW (3 Series/5 Series/6 Series/7 Series/M5/Z4)
Chevrolet (Corvette/Equinox)
Chrysler (Sebring/Town & Country)
Dodge (Challenger/Charger/Durango/Grand Caravan/Journey/Ram)
Fiat (Bravo)
Ford (C-Max/F150/Focus/Focus Ghia/Fusion/Galaxy/Mondeo/S-Max/Taurus)
Honda (Accord/Accord Crosstour/Odyssey/Pilot/Ridgeline)
Infiniti (G25x/G35/G37/I30/I35/M35/QX56)
Jeep (Grand Cherokee)
Jaguar (S Type/XF/XJ8/XK8)
Lexus (ES300/GS350/IS250/RX300/RX350/RX400h)
Lincoln (LS/MKX/MKZ/Zephyr)
Mazda (6/CX-9/MX-5 Miata)
Mercedes-Benz (B180/C240/C300/CLK350/CLS550/E350/E430/E500/GL450/ML550)

Opel
Peugot (508)
Saab (9-3)
SEAT (Leon)
Skoda (Fabia/Octavia II)
Toyota (Prius)
Vauxhall (Insignia/Vectra/Zafira)

While it is a cool feature, I have to admit I've only used it a few times on my Accord.

On the Accord (and presumably other Hondas), you can also roll the windows back up without having to start the car by inserting the key into the driver's side door, turning the key once to lock the doors, and then turning a 2nd time and holding. The windows will go up after a brief pause.

By the way, not all models or all years have this feature. On Hondas, I believe only the EX trims and above have this feature, and IIRC they've removed it from some of the newer models.

I know your inputs are limited when working with stuff like this but who the hell is going to remember all these multi-step processes? Particularly with multiple cars in a family.

For most it was just holding down the unlock button, ITWM I'd learn it as I hate that blast of super-hot air when you first open the car in August.

My Fusion does this. I've only used it once or twice (in less than a year of ownership). It's neat to have, but I'd much rather have a remote starter so I could get the AC or heat going before I get in the car.

My 20 year old Maxima has this capability, but my 2013 GT-R does not.

I've found a couple of add-on modules that give the capability but I'm awaiting a response from the Co. to make sure it will work with my car before I order it. With your car still under warranty I would not fuck with it.

What's F-ed up is my '05 Chevy HAS remote start with automatic climate-control starting along with the car but it cannot do a remote roll-down. Lot's of times that would be good enough as the remote-start does use extra gas.

Love the feature on the Saab 9-3 Convertible -

Hold down the button and the windows roll down, boot opens, top drops, boot closes.

On the Sedan, the moonroof opens as well as the windows all opening.

My car doesn't even have a key. Nor does my wife's car.

Had this feature on my car for 4 years and never used it. Actually my neighbor who has the same car use to come out in the morning to find all his windows half down and sunroof open. Appears you only need to hold the UNLOCK down just a bit too much and all the windows open. On occasion, he would accidently press this while the remote was in his pants. Not everyone likes this feature or uses it.

North American Focus ST does not offer this out-of-the-box, though the European version does (so much for global platform, Ford).

It can be enabled with an ELM327 code reader and a PC program called Focccus but it's never seemed appealing enough for me to spend $10 on the code reader and try.

I haven't found any way to do this on my '15 Corvette. That car traps so much heat that it would be a welcomed feature.

I do this everyday with my 335. It's a life saver when the car has been sitting in a 95* degree parking lot all day.

Yeah, my 2003 maxima had it, my 2000 does not. It's very year specific.

Chrysler stopped doing this in many vehicles in 2012. Word on the street is that people would do it by accident with their fobs in their pockets and for other reasons, leaving the car susceptible to break-ins and water damage if windows are left open during storms. I never spent much time wondering why they stopped — can't really be cost since remote start and other features are still there. I will say I've never wished I had it. Car tends to cool down or warm up pretty darned fast and if I want the car cool on a hot day because we're putting the baby in the car or something, I have remote start, so cracking the windows a bit really won't do much anyway.

There is a lot of discussion about this on many forums. I've tried with my Ram and my Challenger, neither work so YMMV.

Even though my vehicle has this feature, I instead use the remote start and give the vehicle a 5 minute head start to cool down. Opening your windows on a 100 degree day really isn't going to cool it down very much as opposed to turning on the A/C for 5 minutes. Likewise, I don't like the idea of all the windows going down with my radar detector and other valuables in the car.

I do it as I am walking to my car(s) to evacuate the heat from the car, then run the engine with AC on as I drive and then in 30 seconds raise windows, as the bulk of the heat is gone and AC starts cooling the car
