Romney didn't lose so much as Obama won. America wants a centrist, and Obama delivered.

No!! Romney lost due his constant flip flopping.
Romney also lost because a majority of Americans believe that women should have the right to an abortion....we could call this a womens rights issue...
Also we have the gay issue.....it`s not going away! Lagailize it and be done with it!

Until the republican party can deal with the religious right and back totally pout of religious issues and influence they will lose the presidential elections.....

according to ABC News, it's because Romney lost votes from women and non-whites
Mitt Romney won the white vote handily, 58 to 40 percent, the biggest lead for a Republican since 1988. If white women had stayed in Romney's camp, those swing states -- Ohio, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire -- might have moved into his column. Instead, Obama led among women by 12 points, nearly identical to his lead among women four years ago.

The Latino vote is also significant because that automatically gave him the Southwest portion of the country. GOP is going to have to accept the fact that the Latinos are fastest growing group in the country. FACT

Still hanging on to your false reality I see. Enjoy thew next four years moron.

Not really a false reality when people tend to like free shit and just want free shit. Always have and always will. They become dependent on it and they tend to be idiots who will never move beyond where they are because people are generally lazy.

Nothing is free and all it will do is cost the rest of us money to support free shit for free loaders.

Romney lost because the only thing he consistently stood for was greed and personal ambition. Beyond that, he had no apparent moral foundation whatsoever. In my book it made him completely unsuitable as a potential President. We had no idea who we would be electing.

True, but that's actually a symptom and not the underlying problem.

The underlying problem is that the Republican Party is too right-wing. Romney's fraudulence was an attempt to balance the extremism of the GOP with the need to try to win people in the center.

It's not going to get any better for them until they recognize this. They will either end up with moderates that disillusion the base, or "extreme conservatives" who are unelectable, or phonies like Romney who try to be both and get seen through.

Cuz he reminds everyone of a corp raider who robbed your uncles pension, investors and sent offices to burma. Cuz he'd say anything to get elected. People just didnt trust him or feel comfortable with him. You'd never be like " now Mitt Romney is a dude I'd like to have a beer with"

Agree, though more specifically, their primary process is too heavily dominated by right wing extremists. Potentially good candidates are either rejected outright, or have to lie their asses off during the primary campaign to pander to the nutter fringe ... which then makes them damaged goods in the actual election. The Republican party needs a good enema to flush those fringe elements out of the party, or at least out of positions of influence. Until they do, I think they're going to struggle to remain relevant.

I think Romney did pretty well, this thing is fairly close, like any close game, the winner just luckier is all. could easily be other way around.

I think Romney could have a real chance to win this thing. His weakness I think is that he likes to pander his message to each group. But it end up not give a clear picture who he really is.

Too many lies and too many stupid comments, each sucking a little of the wind out of his sails.

The last lie about Jeep was too big and too close to the election for him to obscure it. And you could argue all you want about the ad being "factually correct" but since it came on the heals of him actually saying Jeep was moving production to China, too many people saw it as trying to perpetuate a lie. And even though his other obvious lies didn't seem to garner too much punishment, for some people, a light went on when they finally recognized a pattern.

Well, Romney was totally desperate by that point. What if he had come out with it beforehand? Don't forget that ad wasn't too far off from that moment in the debate when Obama and Romney sparred over Romney's 08 NYTimes editorial

Romney lost because he believes in some false made up deity, while Obama believes in the true messiah, Jesus. Same reason why the Aztecs got wiped out by the Spanish.

I voted for Obama not because I thought Romney would not be able to lead the country better than Obama but rather because of the kind of voters that supported Romney. The crazies on the far right scared me so much that if Jesus came alive again to run as their candidate I would have to vote against him too.

You wouldn't have to worry in that case: The crazies would have crucified him for being a lovey dovey communist, throwing moneylenders out of temples, necromancy, etc....

Romney lost since he had no business running in the first place. Either nominate a man that can be President or let the 3rd party candidates have a shot. Romney was a giant joke the whole time.

If fox thinks he lost because he wasn't conservative enough then they're crazy. They might want to go back and look at Reagan's policies and to stop aspiring towards the policies of1930's Germany.
