Ron Paul will not win this year and will be far too old by 2012. But still he has put the ideas out, some of the better parts of those ideals will acts as seeds, and they will keep growing as the conventional wisdoms increasingly flop. And in that sense, Ron Paul will win even though he does not get the prize. Nor should Ron Paul supporters feel disappointment or shame if their chosen candidate does not win this year. They will have the satisfaction of seeing their ideals become increasingly mainstream in future.

Lemon, don't encourage them!!!

100's of people are running for office on Ron Paul's platform as we speak. So I'd say he's winning, it may not be this year, it may not be next year, but I dare say his ideas have to win. Ron Paul has inspired thousands, he will be remembered.

This was an amazing experience. I've not seen a crowd like this yet. The snowball effect is in steamroller mode people. Check out this mass at a Ron Paul Rally in Denver today.
http://www.9news.com/news/article.aspx?storyid=85630

Video is on the left. Within the first few seconds you will know that hope is still alive. They expected about 1500 and about 3000 showed up.
The Obama-Kennedy event had more people in, and had more people wanting in. The line was 4 deep from American University to the Hill.
I don't doubt it as they are both nationally known. As far as excitement goes however you can't touch Ron Paul. Just no contest.
In that case Hanah Montana should run for President.

Now I should warn you there is a slight possibility that I may even be wrong again some day. At least you're not desperate though.

I think the guy has some good ideas but they are a bit too radical and will never happen.
He needs to tone it down a bit and focus on concepts that can be done with the next president. No way some of his ideas will get passed with the current congress.

What about the part about him not winning the first 2/5 you'd tone back the RP stuff?

Nor should Ron Paul supporters feel disappointment or shame if their chosen candidate has the nomination stolen from him this year.
Fixed that.

Well, that would certainly explain the whopping 3% he received in Florida...
Considering the blatant fraud on the polls (Romney paid shills voting how many times) in Florida, I will not be surprised to see a video showing Florida ballot handling at least as questionable, or moreso, than the New Hampshire fraud.

Where is your proof of that??

What happened in some straw poll doesn't count either.

I am sorry. I guess I hadn't realized how in love with the truth I was.
Anyway in case you hadn't noticed I have been posting VERY little the past month. It's all the NEW Paul supporters that are posting nowadays.
God bless'em. I am glad that I still hold a place in your heart though.

Paul isn't running because he thinks he has a chance at winning. Paul is running because he sees the troubles ahead, the troubles that none of the other candidates are talking about. He is running to send and spread a message. He's the only one running with us in mind. He certainly has little to gain for himself.

So, essentially, he's the guy on the corner holding a sign that says "The End Is Near"?

LOL...

No. He's saying that not only are there real problems that candidates aren't talking about, he's also saying that we can start fixing them.

Meh, no sense in arguing with you anymore, palehorse. You push the agenda that Paul is trying to fight. You push the agenda that's bad for our country. It's no wonder you call him a nut, you do so for the same reason Fox News does.

I did notice. I was hoping it would stay that way to be honest and now that Ron Paul has cemented himself as a serious non-contender, can't you stop posting threads about how he "blows" away Denver?

Better get used to it. More and more people are coming to understand each day that Ron Paul is not only telling the truth but he is correct on both the monetary issue and foreign policy.
I would encourage you to stay open minded.

And Ron Paul supporters have virtually destroyed any hope of a real discussion of Ron Pauls policies by their atrocious behaviour.

Imagine what they wopuld be like if Ron Paul was actually making any kind of a showing in the primaries!!

Considering he didn't spend a dime in Florida and still was able to get over 60,000 votes, I say that was a true grassroots effort.
and he came in behind McCain in NV when McCain did not even put any effort, yet Paul was pushing.

Make sure you watch the video linked in the New Hampshire primary thread. Let me know if you feel those boxes are "sealed".

What happened in some straw poll doesn't count either.
Its called momentum, which is why New Hampshire got squirelled, to try and kill a certain candidate`s momentum early.

Oh... My... God...

I think this is where most (sane) people would direct you to the nearest roll of Reynalds Wrap. However, new evidence has come forth that leave me wondering if there really is any help for people like you.

People are falling for his short-sighted idiocy because they're scared. He's a snake-oil salesman trying to push something that will cost American billions and billions of dollars and not even fix the issue it's supposed to address.

The monetary portion of Ron Paul's campaign is shameful and a disgrace. Well over 90% of America recognizes this fact, except those who are too blinded by Ron's own message.

I would encourage you to open you eyes and see Ron Paul for who he really is, unfortunately, you've fallen in line with his army of mindless zombies and there is no hope for you. You take mountains of evidence and ignore it. You selectively quote those who support Ron's idiocy, but turn a blind eye to the thousands of quotes, papers, and peer-reviewed publications who call Ron Paul's monetary policy out for what it is - a sham.
