I'm sure you are. And you wonder why Paul's message is lost?

You're no better than the Hillarybots we've got floating around here.

Why on earth do you think being polarizing and divisive is a good thing?

Let's see, you say you find Paul supporters (which mean me & others) repulsive. If that isn't polarizing and divisive I don't know what is.

Make sure you watch the video linked in the New Hampshire primary thread. Let me know if you feel those boxes are "sealed".

What happened in some straw poll doesn't count either.
Its called momentum, which is why New Hampshire got squirelled, to try and kill a certain candidate`s momentum early.
You posted a video from the straw poll. That proves nothing!!!

The whole point of a straw poll is to raise money for the local party thus you allow people to pay for votes.

Give it a rest, Paul got 3% in Florida, he is meaningless.

So, this does NOT make economic sense?

Idiot.

The way he wants to go about it doesn't.

BTW, the personal attack offers great strength to your argument!

I don't know about the rest of you, but to me, RP supporters have an eerie resemblance to evangelicals, the way they go on and on about their prophet. They even have the doomsday/apocalypse predictions...

BTW, the personal attack offers great strength to your argument!

Ending deficit spending and paying down the nations debt is GOOD economic policy.
BB is trying to say its whacko economic policy.

Controlling how many IOUs we give out (dollars, in case you didn`t know) is GOOD economic policy.

Let`s see you start giving out endless IOUs to friends and family. Then when they start to refuse them and demand something of value, just tell them that they don`t have the capacity to grasp your mastery of economics.

We`ll see who else gets called an idiot.

IMHO, previous post`s statement of fact more than well deserved.

I believe the merits/demerits of RP's proposed economic policies have been debated well enough already on these forums, and I don't want to start all over again.

OokiiNeko: Consider that "greater internal security" is a good policy, but the Patriot act is well known to have been the bad way to go about it.

Way to dodge. I bet you don't have a clue and are just bandwagon hopping. Prove me wrong.

The embarrassment part is easy to understand: Paul speaks with more common sense than the other candidates combined.

The loyalty part is simple: a McCain, Huckabee or Romney supporter will switch their party vote as easily as breathing, simply because the three are so alike. Paul is so different that he'll take a percentage of the Republican vote to the grave with him; his supporters are unlikely to vote for another Republican candidate, and losing even a small percentage of the vote in the national election can guarantee a Democratic victory.

No, the embarrassment is because he is a Class #1 Loon and falsely associates himself with the GOP.

Second to that is that there are other people (claiming to be republicans, for whatever reason) that appear to BELIEVE his sh!t and follow it with cult-like devotion, even in the face of credible evidence (if not just plain ol' common sense) against his lunacy.

Which of his policies do you specifically think makes him a "loon"? List them, if there is more than one you disagree with.

No. It's been covered many times in many of the previous P'bot posts.

Have a nice day.

Are you asserting that *I* am the only person here that thinks he's a loon?

I submit to you that I am not. I agree with the multitudes of other people that have posted (many times, and subsequently ignored by the P'bots) reasons that RP is considered (in my words) a Loon. Re-stating the obvious is a waste of bandwidth and resources.

Look 'em up yourself; virtually every RP thread has a number of people who disagree with his proposals and, on a varying scale of frequency, scope, and depth, consider him to be loony.

If you like him and wanna vote for him, have at it; why would you care what I think?

the same reason you post in this thread? because apparently you have something to say, and it'd be nice to know what you're referring to. Us blindly searching through threads to know your reference point seems a bit inefficient.

I would like to come out and admit that I am part of a vast conspiracy to prevent Ron Paul from becoming president. This conspiracy is so huge, its amazing. The name of the group, "The Voting Public." Once again we shall properly steer the nation in the path that we choose, leading it away from candidates like LaRouche and Paul.

It sounds like you are upset that the candidate you support doesn't have an energetic following like Ron Paul does. All it takes is an irate few to change things. Call them what you want, but if they continue to catch fire. Things WILL Change.
