It doesn't matter if it sounds like him or if it doesn't sound like him. They were released under his name for years and then he subsequently defended them. So even if you don't believe that he wrote them, he still defended them and, as such, is a racist piece of shit.
He never defended them. If you can show me where he defended them, then that would be honest.
Really, I think that if Dr. Paul was racist, he'd flat out say he was. He's not capable of holding in deep seated feelings. He'd just say, "hey, I was racist in the 80s and that's the truth" and accept whatever the consequences would be.
Earlier this year, Lew Rockwell even said he wanted more illegal immigrants and he's a defender of Muslims, few of whom are white. He's admitted that he's moved to the left.
A lot of people who were born before the 60s were racist, but then they changed later in life. However, Dr. Paul was never racist. He'd say he was. If you'd ever read liberty defined, then you'd see he wasn't racist and he came to the defense of Hispanics when he said a lot of people of European descent probably resent the work ethic of the former.
The reason the MSM is pulling these last minute attacks is so their precious Ultra PC leftist neocon Gingrich has a chance. The reason why the beltway libertarians made such an issue out of it a few years ago is because they wanted Giuliani to win and because they were still bitter about losing control of the LP. They're in desparation mode because if Dr. Paul becomes President Paul, they'll be so discredited that they'll just go out of business. The government is basically the MSM's lifeblood and if centralization of power goes away, so does the MSM.
