Rose Bowl Seating

I tried looking at seating charts located on various web pages but they don't get too specific. Can anyone who's been to the Rose Bowl tell me what sight line I can expect to have. How many rows off the field is Row C?

After trying to get tickets for the past week, I finally got tickets for face value. I can't wait to watch the Illini victory!

how do you figure? If I'm reading the seating chart correctly they're 25-30yd line.

u got tix... be thrilled even if you have to stand behind the very last row in the very tippy top of the stadium.

I will be there as well! I got lucky with the SC lottery and "won" the opportunity to buy two tickets.

I'm sorry you'll be traveling all the way out here just to see SC win again!

Good on paper and good in reality are two different things. Seriously though, I was just trying to scare you. I have no idea where Row C is.

pretty sure there isn't a bad seat at the rose bowl. when i was there for the texas/michigan game i sat behind an endzone and didn't care. once you get there the rest is just a blur, especially if you win.

I got a pair this morning too. There were only 3,000 on sale! Mine are 12L row L...I know they're bad. From what I can tell row L is the first row. Based on some pictures I found on Google there is a chance we will have a view straight at the end zone, but I expect them to be obstructed by people standing between us and the end zone. Oh well, that's what the video board at the other end is for. At least we'll be in the building and right in the middle of the Illini sections! :laugh:

Here's the thing . . . if USC wins it's just another game in which they beat an "inferior" opponent. When Illinois wins it'll be another huge upset for us against a huge favorite (with OSU being the other). Either way I'm looking forward to a great game and experience. As an Illinois alum, I've been waiting for this for a while.

Any suggestions on pre/post game activities to look into?

rose bowl parade, duh that, and there will be tons of new year's eve parties the night before.

Well, we have our Indian casinos scattered around SoCal. You could also go wine tasting. Also, CalTech's just down the road from the Rose Bowl, if you'd like to stop by and visit.
