Both teams probably feel they shouldn't be here, but Michigan still has a lot to prove that they should've been in Arizona right now. However few people can prepare for a big game as Pete Carroll can..so I say it'll be pretty close..

USC is so dissapointed playing Michigan instead of OU for the title I wouldn't doubt if they subconsciously just mail it in and let Michigan rough 'em up.

Nah, USC plays with too much pride. They're in the Rose Bowl! Most of those kids probably grew up wishing to play in the Rose Bowl.

Michigan has a great defense, but they're going to have their hands tied down with Steve Smith who's a senior and Dwayne Jarrett who's likely to go pro. Both will show the Michigan secondary a thing or two about coverage (best recievers in the nation, IMO).

Yeah I could do without the couple of 3rd & longs though. Makes things a bit more nerveracking. One thing I like about the game so far is the lack of penalties on either side. Arkansas had like 125+ penalty yards in the Capital One Bowl.

1. There's no such thing as a Tostitos Bowl. There's a Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and Tostitos BCS national championship Bowl.
2. Arkansas played in the Capital One Bowl.

Yeah it's getting to the point where we recognize bowl games more by thier sponsers than anything. The Rose Bowl was the last one to even have a sponser.
