The pushback from the Trump family is hilarious. I'd wish that the Trumps stick to the subject of racism as being the prime motivator for Roseanne's show getting cut.

Using false equivalence and diversion in order to make an argument against why Roseanne's show was cut is disingenuous at the least and plain bald faced spite at best.

I don't see the working stiffs as having any real say...a job is a job for most of them...and they work on whatever show the Network assigns them to. Caterers get the call to feed x number of people x times per day, often with special diet requests...but have nothing to do with who the stars of the show might be. It's a fucking job. PERIOD.
Those kinds of people are the ones this will hurt the most...and none of it is their fault.

You people are right. I guess they're going to permanently cancel her show's time slot and just broadcast empty air! No other TV shows for people to work on.

Its not like people in the industry aren't aware of the potential for losing their job almost every year. Sure it sucks but its not like they're completely unaware or ill prepared to handle that. I mean, do you really think they're taking out home loans based on expecting to be working on this show for 2 decades? "I got hired to the resurrected Roseanne show, I'm sure that won't ever end!"

I haven't kept up on if she has rights to it or something that would prevent them from Garfield Minus Garfield it? That would actually be almost hilarious. Write her character, and have everyone react to her and the bits, but she wouldn't be there (and no replacement or anything).

I'm actually still baffled that the show came back at all considering she's been spouting crazy, hateful, and crazy-hateful shit online for years.
