I’m not saying she’s not racist. She is, ABC knew that when they took her on to renew the show. She’s always been a controversial figure I don’t know why we are surprised by this at all. Ambien is a reasonable explanation for complete lack of judgement firing away tweets that a rational person knew crosses a line.

The problem with this excuse is that the thought/idea still has to come from somewhere - that "somewhere" is her brain/conscience/thoughts. The Ambien (may have) been the reason she vomited out that thought, but the thought is her to own.

Hehe, I like the pharma company response "Racism is not a known side effect of Ambien".

It's amazing how you can claim to condemn racism in one thread while apologizing for racism in another. I suspect it's because you don't identify with the racism you condemn, but you do identify with Roseanne's racism.

I like that according to Sanders that Trump had far more important matters and was too busy to comment. Today he has time ergo Trump has solved the world's problems. I suppose this means Kim gets a McDonald's franchise.

Edit- I think I'll watch Sarah "not lie" today.

First question: The President doesn't have the time to comment on Rosanne but has time to meet with Kim Kardashian?

I guess Kimmy K takes precident over North Korea

Which is somewhat irrelevant. There are very few saints in this world that have no bad thoughts, whether racist or some other topic. Whether you act on them determines whether they impact others.

What is relevant is if she's going to take drugs that allow this crap to slip out, it's irrelevant what the cause was, only the result.

I appreciate your optimism, but don't share it. After McCain lost the election because he refused to call a black Christian man a Muslim terrorist just because he was black, and a real conservative lost just because he was Mormon, the Republicans learned that pandering to racists and bigots was the only way to win elections.
Now, Roseanne and Trump are the mainstream GOP. While 'real' conservatives are the fringe element.
I feel the opposite is true. I felt McCain pandering to what became the Tea Party by choosing Palin as a running mate is what cost him the election. I felt the 47% sound byte of Romney pandering to rich donors is what cost him the election.

Trump is not a conservative. Trump is a populist opportunist who energized the fringe just enough to pull off a win. The losses the GOP will suffer for embracing him will force a correction and realignment.

Sorry, I’ve got to start focusing my energy on North Korea Nuclear, bad Trade Deals, VA Choice, the Economy, rebuilding the Military, and so much more, and not on the Rigged Russia Witch Hunt that should be investigating Clinton/Russia/FBI/Justice/Obama/Comey/Lynch etc.

Pretty obvious this was a very dumb thing to say. No matter if it was a joke, taken the wrong way, or taken exactly how she meant it. Dumb, insensitive and bigoted thing to say.

My only wish that those who claim to be outraged by this, didn't have selective outrage about racism and bigotry. Why do I say this? No outrage over Joy Reids bigoted comments. No backlash. No protests to lose sponsors or her job. Nothing happened to her. MSM largely silent over it. In fact, what does she get to do? Have a discussion on TV about how bad Roseanne's comments are. From one bigot to another. Great job by MSNBC. Pro tip: both are bad and neither should get a pass on it. Only a few reasons why Reid got a pass on it that I can think of. If a Fox host did what she did, it would be a totally different story Those who deny this, are either a liar, ignorant ,or naive.

But thats libs for you. Do as I say, not as I do. Those who claim to be outraged over this, but not over Reid are hypocrites. Plain and simple. Of course it wont be admitted, instead I'll get attacked, probably named called, etc. Instead of taking a stand against all bigotry. Its only bad when the right does it, not the left. This happens time and time again. Many posters in this thread are guilty of it.

That is the spin today from the right wing media machine. Fox News, RT (of all places), and many other sites are running stories about Reid. Guess we know where Ackmed gets his info from, but he is a good boy for pushing the talking points.

Also, not seeing the difference between someone digging up old dumb shit (which, by all accounts, does not reflect the current views of the person) vs. someone spewing dumb shit yesterday is pretty transparent.

I have my own “oh shit I shouldn’t have sent her that’s” while taking ambien. I don’t take it anymore because I’d do crazy stuff while on it. Maybe just an excuse for her. Probably is. A believable one though.

Really??

It seems like she carries an IV around with Ambien in it

Ask yourself what did both Joy's do they both renounced what they said and unequivocally apologized promising to improve. JB called Pence personally and did it on the air.

Has Trump ever apologized for his acts of racism? Have you ever taken a stand against any of Trump's racism? Roseanne's calling black women apes is not a one off. She did the same thing to Susan Rice. Don't act like Christians are the aggrieved religion in this country. Christians are not being killed in the United States for being Christian. American Muslims regularly face violence solely based on their religion. Some of the same inbred chuckheads are attacking groups who they think "look like" Muslims.

For the record calling your wife mother is a little mentally ill

BTW - We know you are parroting the talking points because they came out today. Same shit Sanders read in this afternoon's presser. Don't you have brains enough to mount your own defense. It has been shown many times here when so called "lefties" screw up the rest of us "lefties" are not afraid to call them out on it.

McCain had no chance to win regardless of who he chose as VP. He was running on the party ticket of the last president, a guy who just oversaw two terms that included the worst terrorist attack in history, one failed war, one catastrophically failed war that he lied us into, and a worldwide economic collapse. No Republican stood a chance after a record of failure like that, he was cooked.

Can I have a summary?
Way too much reading required from a way crazy looking website.

Thank you.

I stopped reading a few paragraphs in. You need to bring lots of tinfoil.

Unless we assume the FBI went completely rogue, it is inconceivable that the deployments of personnel to spy on the Trump campaign and make provocative contact with its lesser members could have occurred without the full knowledge and control of the occupants of the Oval Office.

Obama may claim a scandal-free administration, but after Fast and Furious, the targeting of the Tea Party by the IRS, the Benghazi cover-up, Hillary's emails, to name a few, Spygate is just the latest. I use the plural "occupants" because while Barack Hussein Obama may have been nominally the president of the United States, at the heart of every one of these scandals and virtually every administration move was Valerie Jarrett, who arguably could be considered our first female president.

Jarrett, born in Iran to American parents, has been with the Obamas since her days as deputy chief of staff in the office of Chicago mayor Richard Daley, the younger. She hired Michelle Obama, then Michelle Robinson, to fill an opening in the mayor's office.

Would a FoxNews segment on "Spygate" help? American Thinker referenced it where Newt Gingrich calls out Valerie Jarrett. I haven't watched yet to see if that's true. Either way, Jarrett seems to be called out over spying on the Trump campaign.

Did the Obama administration spy on the Trump campaign?

The very first sentence of the American Thinker article tells us all we need to know. Which is the writer has no idea how investigations are actually conducted.

Its a bull shit assumption, one that obviously doesn't hold up to scrutiny after you have McConnell and Gowdy backing away from saying the FBI was spying on the Trump campaign.
