Sorry Sid, that is not a race potential, that is some potential for the humiliation of one Petrusbroder (the difference in RAC ... shudder ... 1400 vs 350 ... You' ll pass me in about an hour or two ...)

I was thinking about something more realistic ... but I do not see anything where I have a chance of not being crushed.

LOL and LOL again! Me stomping you to ground? No way, you have way to powerful comps. When I had all my comps running Rosetta I produced barely 1808 cobblestones (usually around 1400 - 1500) and then I was not so much committed in other projects, such as Predictor, SIMAP, and just now above all DPAD!
BTW: Why don't you look over at and look at the DPAD stats @ TAS?

But Sid I still like the idea: lets see in three days how we stand: we could race if you are not too far ahead when you have cleared out those queues - which I also need to do BTW.
Do not expect me to increase my production so soon - I have Einstein, Seti, Predictor and SIMAP (when the WUs arrive) running.

One possibility is a race to 100 K. I need some time to ramp up my crunchers - that should give you a great advantage
An other possibility is to organize a mini team race. Is there any interest in that? "Sid's viscious gang" vs "Petrus hard rockers". Should we start a thread about that? :Q

just a quick note for the P4 dual core, 2.8,

I am at
2079 whetstones and 5158 dhrystones per cpu, obviously two cpu's running

No overclocking and still trying to clean up the Dell of all the preloaded junk that is hogging resources
