  These are the last stats still with him on the TeAm. He must have left today. I guess it's due to the recent flaming of his father 'emjem' in this thread. As with all BOINC based projects, his points will stay with the TeAm. But you'll be missed Thad, not because you were one of our top producers but because of your posts and contributions. I really liked doing these stats up to now. That doesn't mean that I will stop doing them, but it'll be with less joy and enthusiasm. Far well BadThad, wherever you may crunch.
  
  
• We had a new best production day and broke the 100k barrier: 101,048 points.
  Probably due to the outage. Should be our last one for a while, as we'd have to make up for BadThad, about 6,700 points a day.
  
• We're leading Housing and Food Services by 170k. XPC is still some 17 days away.
  
• We had 60 active members (58.25%) yesterday.

You need to have finished at least one WU for the TeAm networkman, then you'll show up on the stats.

This is indeed a terrible day for the TeAm.

There is an additional loss that may not be as evident as that of BadThad.

Crazee has stopped crunching also. You will start to notice the slow erosion of the production of TeAm Enterprise for he was well over half of our strength. What you may also notice and what I will miss the most is his posting on the AnandTech DC Forum.

This has sort of taken the heart out of it all for me.

With the loss of Crazee for TeAM ... that would put us at risk of falling TOO FAR behind in a short period of time in SETI.

We really do need some help in SETI ... I will be recommitting some of the hordes to Rosetta soon ... that should help this project.

It has been a long week here at AT indeed! First we get to fight in a thread full of bickering about cheaters and now we fight in a thread about websites.

I'm completely out of paitence with people picking fights and I'm completely out of patience with the "I'll show you guys" attitude that follows each and every one of them.

I will miss Crazee, BadThad, emjem and the others quietly slipping away as well. But this isn't a Jr. High School and our conduct (yes, mine included) needs to begin reflecting that fact.

Hmm.. okay, well I'll check and see if there any Rosetta WUs to flush when I get home, which by the way will be under the GRRO id, not my personal one on TA.

As I said, right now it's just the 1 rig that has the Rosetta client set up, but I'll see about adding it to a couple more.

...it's not about the production. It's about the people. I don't care whether Crazee and BadThad had 1 or 1,000 PCs. It's the people, not the credits that I'll miss.

And yes, BlackMountainCow - I completely agree with that sentiment as well.

Ah, we'll bounce back sooner of later (most likely later though ). Why did Crazee quit anyway? In the meantime, I suggest everyone switch to optimized clients. It won't fill the gap, but it'll do something.

I quit after chessbrain II ended because of personal problems (whacko GF)and trying to find a new job,place to live, not to mention Parents and Daughter moving all at the same time.

We all need to be adults. We DO NOT always get our way. Nothing says that life must always be a bowl of cherries (not the pits though) ...

Some folks need a bit of forebearance ... and thick skins.

Nothing says we must ALL agree on everything ... or even anything.

A bit of tolerance would go a long ways in this forum or any forum.

Attitudes like that are a good way to turn more people away. Letting anything go is just not what I'm about. I'm not going to say anymore, just going to be one to slip away quietly.
