Well, my stats will probably slow down a bit...Office people were complaining about sluggish performance...kinda surprised me since some of the machines have 1GB of RAM, and I don't have any trouble on my home computer with that much RAM. Then again, most of them are Celerons. Anyway, they're only crunching during non-office hours now, but will be adding at least 3 computers in the next few weeks.

svern (Dennis), I had the same problem recently with people complaining about slow system performance on machines that have been running Rosetta for a month or more with no impact at all. I set the preferences on those computers to run after the computers have been idle for at least 3 minutes so they're still running a good portion of the day during business hours while the users are doing other things, but nobody is complaining about performance issues any more...

All of the computers that got complaints had 256MB of RAM. I upgraded everyone to at least 512MB (some got 768MB) last week and I'm changing them all back to run all the time tonight to see if anyone complains again tomorrow.
