That was weak! Bill usually does a great job at slamming liberal fruit loops like O'Donnell on his show, but he let her off easy. Where were the constant, hardball questions? The nasty side remarks?? The constant interuptions where Bill interjects his opinion?!? Hell, he often let HER have the last word on questions!

Hell, the interview with the Toyota CEO afterward was more entertaining.

I got to say I gained a lot of respect for Rosie. I was really surprised to see how much her views have changed and that she admitted she was basically a blind left wing sheep pre 9/11. I still might not agree with her but at least I can respect her opinions now.

I don't see why people thought this was going to be a big fight or anything, since O'Reilly basically supported Rosie's fight against Florida. Now if someone like Alec Baldwin or George Cloony had the nuts to go on, that would be a lot better IMO.

Rosie got some respect back from O'Reily--you could see that. He absolutely had his view on her changed because she had the cojones to do the show. What really impressed him was the fact that she admitted her world changed on 9/11--just like everybody else's. One thing O'Reily always appreciates is honesty, and taking responsibility for one's actions and words. (You get that from his books) He was impressed by her forthright approach, and her admission that she went overboard on her gun views....
Still not a Rosie fan, but she gets my respect. Those expecting a flamefest between them probably thought it was boring...frankly, I thought it was the some of the best stuff I have seen in a while from both of them.
Flamefest fans will probably have to wait for George Clooney to do the show..if he grows some "sac"

As I watched it I really didn't buy the new Rosie. And I also think O'Reilly was on a mission to seem less harsh to hollywood. I thought it was very funny how she calimed to support his campaign against the charities but when he asked why he wasn't allowed on her show she stumbed over herself.

She had been well coached for this interview. I knew the gay apoption question they would agree on (as do I) but she did go out on a limb when she claimed a stable homosexual home was just as good if not better than a stable heterosexual home which of course is rediculus. And then Bill didn't challenge her to support her claim. Very dissappointing.

This was a love fest. Both had something to prove to the people watching. I didn't buy it.

I am however looking foreward to the viewer emails.

Yea I was surprised O'Reilly didn't press her on this since she completely avoided his question, which was if you have a GOOD gay couple and a GOOD straight couple which environment would be better for a child to be raised in?? She would not answer that, even though you get the feeling she knows the answer. Especially when she said later on she hopes her children are straight since life would be easier for them.

As I said though, I never thought it was going to be the flamefest some thought it would be.

I was impressed by Rosie's honesty about her own stupidity if nothing else. She stated that since she has an hour to fill every day on her show that sometimes she says stupid sh*t sometimes or speaks emotionally without thinking first. Many hollywood types egos are to big to allow for such an admission so that was refreshing.

Yeah Rosie really threw a wrench into the works by admitting that she had been wrong on many issues. How disappointing it must of been for the hate mongers.

O'Reilly is so fake! He's a Republican equivalent of Rosie O'Donnell. Check this out: Just very recently, I heard on Drudge report that he was going to cohost his show with Hillary (some radio talk show he'll start by May): "O'Reilly Adds Female Factor". I was like "uh!"

Well, I gave up on O'Reilly over 3 years ago. I haven't watched his show in over 3 years now. I knew he was into it all for money, just like Rosie is and was. He started with this very conservative pic, and then gradually slacked and changed his note.

Rosie has no credibility at all either. I give no credence to anyone who took an extreme position and spoke out loud about it, yet later he or she comes to me and tells me to believe him or her on a new position? (It's kinda lika that so-called ex-Republican now Democrat who claims we are blinded by the right and all of the talk show hosts. What credibility has he now? How do we know he's not up to ripping us? A deceiver is always a deceiver until he or she has done enough to show otherwise.) And even during the period they took an extreme position, they failed to meet up the standard they espoused or claimed to espouse rather? That's crap. I would rather appreciate someone who's consistent with his or her postion continually, even if it is one I disagree with. Credibility is what matters a lot to me in one's character. Neither O'Reilly nor Rosie is credible. Money matters more to both of them.

And as far as I'm concerned, I will not ever waste my time on any of their shows. I don't look up to celebrities or politicians for what is right or wrong in my life and what to condone or conform to.

I'm flabbergasted to see the amount of trust people put upon either of these characters, but O'Donnell's is more shocking to me. How could anyone honestly believe an incredulous woman when she states that 9/11 changed her mind!!! Was she credible before 9/11? Why is she any credible now? I guess it tells how gullible we all are as human beings, for even when one exhibits a behaviour that logically leads us to conclude she is not a credible authority, we still do not care because now she professes the beliefs we claim to have. I guess it is only when her other side shows again with her pattern of behaviour that we would begin questioning her motive or credibility. Oh! It must be a forgery 'cuz she's back to her old ways 5 years from now.

What's incredible to me is that anybody would would even care what she had to say! From my perspective she was the perfect tool for conservatives to use to denounce Liberals. Her conceding that she was wrong and that many of the times she spoke up on subjects it was done purely based on emotion which is more or less is exactly what many of her detractors have been accusing her of doing all this time. What she did last night was confirm what many of us already knew, that she wasn't someone who others should look to for an opinion on any issue regarding politics .
