Round IDE cables

Anything special about cables like these???

24 inch IDE Cable

I'm looking for a hard drive @ newegg, and uner the hd descriptions it says "click here for IDE cable"... does that mean the OEM versions of the hd's they sell don't come with IDE cables??

I would think they do, but I've never ordered from new egg. I am going to get me some of those cables though... sweeeeeeet!

i can't remember if my hd came with a cable or not, but i know i ended up with a few too many. mbs usually come with some, and other ide devices usually do too.

newegg is good if you have any doubts btw.

simply better airflow and no hd's dont come with cables. You should have gotten a cable or two with your mobo.
