I agree. I don't stray from topic often or long, but some of the best info I get is from when others stray from topic (I just get flamed ).

Like this time... I just ordered three 24" silver ATA133 cables from SVCompucycle (those particular cables are the same price as at newegg, but they shaved off ten bucks on shipping! None of the suggested places have 36" on either IDE silver 133 or floppy.)

For cables of all sorts I've always liked Cyberguys -- they've got quite a selection, and prices are pretty good most of the time.

Any downside to using these braided cables from svc? I read somewhere that it creates some problems with the system. Thanks for your time.
