Question Router Comparison - LINKSYS EA8500, ASUS TM-AC1900 or a NETGEAR NIGHTHAWK AC2100

Been away from all this for awhile but feel you all have helped in the past and (hopefully) can assist me now.

I currently have the LINKSYS EA8500 and a NIB ASUS TM-AC1900 (T-Mobile deal) and a NETGEAR NIGHTHAWK AC2100 to be delivered tomorrow from Staples.

I would love to read or hear from you all on how these rank. I am using the LINKSYS currently but have been having issues with it or the Smartthings or Phillips Hue bridges/HUBS losing connections. We stream a lot AND have a number of wireless connections SO I am looking for the best Router of the three - suggestions?

I currently have an Arris Modem but have a NETGEAR CM600 Modem that I bought from a recent deal that I will upgrade to BUT want the best - AGAIN, suggestions, input, leads, etc., is appreciated!

i bet if you change your channels you will get better wifi on which ever you use. maybe there are lots of other people with wifi around you, and the nighthawk is the best but would get a better model even.

The Asus/T-Mobile is solid, especially if you flash to the original Asus Firmware and then load up Asus-WRT Merlin. I had one for a few months but eventually ended up with a NetGear Nighthawk R7000 flashed to use Advanced Tomato. If you are staying stock, I would probably stay with the Asus unless you had a necessity for more wireless bandwidth that the other two provide.

if you want to spend a hour flashing teh tmobile router i have 2 of them that need to be flashed, even tempted to give one away if they do both and ship it back. I did both of them already but they reverted back. Unfortunately there is not a easy way to take them back to merlin and will be a 30 min process at least.. (which i should just do myself but lack motivation on a old router i prob wont use)
