A normal Router has one wan port and 4 lan port. Some router specify that it can have 65Mbps through put. I suppose that means you can use a 65Mbps boardband. ( Some buffalo and PCi router )
1. So if i tranfer a file from a computer on the same network to another computer on the same network. Would it be limited by the 65mbps?
2. IN order to expand the network. switch or a hub may be used with conjuntion with the router. If, two computer is connected to a switch / Hub, and the hub to a router and to internet. If i transfer a file from computer A to computer B on the same network, would the transfer goes through the hub/switch, then router then back to the hub to computer B. Or would the hub/switch clever enough to transfer my file directly to B without interfering with the router?
