Oh great, out comes the DiVinci again...
I have one, it works. It syncs to Outlook2000.
I'll probably be the last positive post for this thing, but I will say that I do like mine and have had no problems with it whatsoever.
If I recall, it all had to do with what version and CD you got with it. BTW: STILL no keyboard here either. That's the only thing I'm really mad about with it.
EDIT/UPDATE: OK, my first of batteries died on it, I changed them and it has not worked since!!! Just to make the insult more painful, I received the keyboard yesterday - after 6 MONTHS. Davinci = suck.

VenGog, you asked for it.
When I first saw this thread I wanted to reply, but thought oh well, maybe he didn't know.

But now bragging for THIS and submitting it 3 times??

Here are some reasons why this is a piece of crap, if this is the same unit that was on these boards many month ago.

The OS is buggy and crashes. Even the newest released version is bad.
There is no support on this device.
The battery lifetime is short.
There are very few applications comming with it.
It is way to expensive compared to the price it was sold earlier.
The screen is hard to read (compared to Visor or Palm).
The recognition of characters is not reliabley fast.

Hope I served your question.

Thanks for the info.
I would like to mention one thing on this thread.
Tho' I see lot of flamers here,
When ever I read a thread, I learning so many things here from knowledge and experiences of others, which mean a lot to me than some sales pitch from the selling company.

I would have ordered this for my wife, cause she is after my Palm IIIxe (I got it for ~136 at $taples) thinking that it is going to save $100 or so for me, but now I know what I would have lost.

anyway... Some of you are great in informing about the product.

A hot deal is the best product at incredible price

Thank you all GOOD people.
Flamers learn from the Good ones!

Don't waste your time with this thing. I tried it because I was trying to avoid paying the extra money for a palm device. The handwriting recognition is HORRIBLE, the screen is mediocre at best, and it's just a cheap piece of crap. If you are looking for a data organizer in this price range, get one with a keyboard entry system. If you want a PDA, buy a palm. Good price, but unfortunately this thing isn't even worth $55.

OK, I finally have the solution to those who want something decent for a PDA that is cheap and not for those power-PDA palm-ers out there. I did not want to shell out for a M100 and nabbed an Everex Freestyle PDA for like 40 bucks off fleabay. It's 4MB and has a compactflash slot. It runs on WinCE and the Jot program is pretty good. I use avantgo and view web content offline. The company that makes them totally abandoned it, hence why they are cheap. I will reiterate: Davinci is suck.
