Before you say something like "your stupid"

i like the concept of RPG's, Controling yourself or many characters in pursuit to better the characters overtime. I notice that most games have insane amounts of text to sift through.

now my main genre is FPS. not sayin i dont like to read. but not the amount that most rpg games have to offer, even games as simple as pokemon diamond turned me off, because right off teh bat, i had to sift through talking.

are there any games that offer the rpg experience without talking galore

i have played WoW,EQ2,Diablo 2, currently playing xmen legends. i know maybe not true rpg's but still talking

RPGs generally are plot heavy so that inevitably leads to a lot of text/speech. Your best bet is probably to look for "action RPGs".

Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core for PSP is pretty action-y. It's full of tie-ins to FF7 if you're into that and it also has some pretty kick-ass cutscenes (once again, if you're into that)

edit: you know, its also full of talking.. you'd hate it, I'm sorry.

...I still think its cool

some talking is fun, but too much will have me returning or throwing the game heh

action/adventure is crash bandicoot or super mario...

Diablo is action rpg

Lol, I just noticed this.

You could try out Untold Legends (I heard it's not that great though and it can get VERY repetitive)

You could try Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core for the PSP. It's not too terribly text heavy although it does have a fair share of cutscene movies.

If you like turn based RPGs, you might try Final Fantasy III for the DS. To me, it didn't seem to have alot of talking. I think you can get it used for less than $15 at Gamestop.
Be warned, it is somewhat of a difficult game.

Golden Sun for GBA is still a fabulous/action-packed RPG. Still plenty of text to sift through, but the pacing is pretty fast. I also suggest getting Chrono Trigger DS, which should be in stores TODAY. Very little background text in the beginning.

Etrian Odyssey is an RPG similar in style to the Genesis RPG Shining in the Darkness. There is so little talking in it you almost feel like there isn't enough. Instead of talking you do a lot of maze exploring and mapping.
