are you using 2.2b from lunatics.at? I went from 2.2b to 2.4 and saw a pretty nice improvement in my e6750 at 3.5. It's at 1733 RAC right now and still going up.

Yeah, it is. But leave HT on, in my experience it crunches some 8 - 10% more than running just one thread. It will get hot though ... which may be a reason of running one instance of the application only.
