I've been terrible. Sorry guys,

I was a much bigger player in the last Seti Classic race we had.

As i remember so--so very long ago.......in a seti classic far -far away .....We were both never at the end of a race pack. !!!
Not saying the w/u's were in the millions ...but i used to be somewhere in the top 25% maybe..:roll:

As i look around my computer room ...all the M/b 's, power supplies, misc. parts, everywhere. Even one of the special stainless steel "crack racks " some of us bought back in the classic days..(I know alot of you will remember this rack) All are dusty, outdated , not crunching , not running. Now i have 2 crunchers.(still semi stone-age)
But ,our motto is ........every little bit helps!!

Haha, I managed to scrounge up an old skule 2500+, so thats crunching at the moment...
Also building an E2160 for a friend, so I might "burn it in" over the weekend for him >.>

same here on the new quad @ 3.2ghz
when all else fails, up the vcore!

something i've noticed about this race that's really hurting us is the pending credits. even though all teams have the same chance of being paired with a slow computer, it kinda fudges everyone's actual crunching power when looking at the stats.

you really should "stability test" it to make sure that it works properly. At least until 11/18, right?

Not vcore for me yet ,I had to up the FSB VTT v from 8% to 12% ,so far it seems ok.

I have full caches - for 2 - 3 days crunching. I am setting BOINC to "no more work" from seti@home because I have neglected CPDN, MalariaContro.net and WCG during the race ...

I have 18.900 pending ... I'll probably reach 35 000 more credits (pending + the WUs I have) before I am back to my pre-race production: 400-500 credits/day.
