Had a great time and saw lots of neat things. The Tutankhamun exhibit was very interesting.

Was that the Franklin Institute in Philly? If so, back in the 80's they had some equipment my dad made and I've always wondered if it was still there. He had a small 2 man co. that hand made electronic equip for monitoring air pollution. It was in a room for weather/environmental science that would show you all sort of readings about current conditions in the city. We didn't even know it was there, just sorts stumbled across it.

Yes, the Franklin in Philly. My kids were overwhelmed and we didn't get to see half of everything. It was my first visit in over 20 years. The place has changed from what I remembered.

Ah, yea. Now I see it (and don't see why I didn't see it). Now I don't have to go look like an idiot in front of my professor. Thanks Rudy.

Right now I have it helping out on QMC and Rosetta, both are projects I started with just my P4. So I'm excited to see what this bad boy can do!

Same here, the trip in the eighties was my only visit. Only thing I remember besides the enviro room was a huge old paper making machine where you got to handle the pulp at one end and they gave you a piece of paper at the other after it dried.

The quadcore I just burnt in for work had an RAC in Rosey of 1200 pts. Unfortunately it had to start going to work. Damn radiologists, you'd think they had something important to do

The thought of how long it is going to take for me to add another machine to our fleet makes me sad.

I have the same situation. The 3 FX-60s are probably it for me. They will be crunching until they expire.

I am enjoying the hell out it!

It's driving me nuts. Everything is taking so much time, it's driving me crazy. And I'm going to college now, so it seems like anything takes forever to accomplish, as my free time has dimished to about 2 hours per week. Between work, school, and insomnia, life is kicking my ass. And it makes me feel horrible because it seems that members of the team are paying the price (IE me taking a bit longer to ship the belts, or ship the prize that it is taking me a while to send [I'm working on it Fardringle, I promise]). *sigh*

Honestly, this is the best group of friends I've had in a damn long while, and I feel like I've let people down. "..."

Dwayne--

We don't feel that way. Everyone of us is a volunteer on this site. We volunteer to crunch, to keep stats, and to give advice to other members. And we all realize that Real Life will occasionally get in the way. However, Real Life is the priority.

I admire you for enrolling in college. I dropped out after a year and never went back. I think my career would have been a little more successful if I had had the degree in Physics. Without it, I just had to work harder.

So, take care of Real Life and don't worry about this group. We all understand.

I was just invited to join the circus. They want to shoot me from the cannon, because they say I'm a man of high caliber.

Agreed with Assimilator1, Smoke, RT and the others.

RL is sometimes quite demanding, but we have to deal with it.

You are our friend. We keep the porch light on for you - just drop by whenever! :sun:
