Show me a better racer on the PC than PGR3. Show me a better platformer than Kameo. How about a better action/horror game than Condemned: Criminal Origins? Maybe a better fighter than Dead or Alive 4?

FEAR is a shooter, not so much an action game. And there's no way PoP is better on the PC. And no, there really aren't any fighters available.

A shooter is an action game. So you counter his argument by saying "that doesn't count!"? I have a feeling no matter what anyone tells you, you're just going to say, "that doesn't really count!"

No, I was just trying to pick a genre that wasn't FPS... Because we agree that the PC platform has the best FPS'.

What we don't agree on is the fact that you believe all PC games are better than all 360 games. And I gave you the examples to back that up.

Both platforms are great gaming platforms and offer different experiences.

The experience that a console offers is inferior to that of the PC. No console game can beat a PC game. That's the bottom line.

Umm ok then. Playing COD2 on my 23 inch PC monitor could not hold a candle to playing COD2 on my 360 in front of my 57inch HDTV with surround sound.

Inferior.....no I don't think so.

You guys are arguing over a topic that has not been resolved since the beginning of time. The truth of the matter is, PCs and consoles offer different gaming experiences. There are some who enjoy the PC experience and others who enjoy console games. This argument is pointless. If you guys don't like the deal, then move on, no need to thread argue over something that is very subjective.

True dat. PC fanboi attitudes are just brutal. Drives me nuts when I see PC v Console, Linux V M$, Mac V PC....debates and one or the other side won't admit that there is a place for both and that neither is inferior to the other.

I personally really like both. I prefer Sport, racing and fighting games on a console. It is hard to be you and 3 of your buddies playing on a big screen. I prefer playing first person shooters on the pc. I have trouble using game controllers on first person shooters.

You mean to tell me that my parents (55 years old no technical skill) can just hook up a PC to an HDTV with the sound, and play it at 60fps for $300?

Of couse not...It takes about $800 in graphics cards an SLI mobo, a healthy amount of ram, etc. Plus a fair amount of setup expertise to do it.

Yep I have both and do both...but lets give each their dues. KB/M is one thing the PC always has, and consoles almost never do. PCs look better mid to end of console cycle.

If they pop up in the afternoon as in-stock they should be put on the floor the following morning. Thats what happened with mine anyways.

Popped up on the website as in-stock around 2:30 PM
Went to store to get one, none available
Talked to a manager, said they would be out the next morning
Went to store to get one, several available

Or something like that. Guess its a gigantic YMMV.
