Rumours/Claims about things accidentally caught in a movie

This is exactly what she says. She thinks that it was edited out of later copies of the movie.

I've seen that ghost. And it's quick shocking to see!

And I believe in ghosts for other reasons...I've seen an image of a transparent person sitting in a chair on a negative but the positive doesn't show anyone.

Oh, I should add that I remember a big contraversy in the 80s (I think) when it was being shown on TV. It was a big stink because they don't show that part of hte movie on TV. If it's just an animall.....

I disagree. You could definitely see something swaying from side to side, but the details were obscured enough by the set that it could have been a sandbag or any number of other things. I was not able to clearly make out legs or arms.

This is exactly what she says. She thinks that it was edited out of later copies of the movie.

That is quite possible(the editing of new versions). I almost could swear that you see a ladder fall over too.

It turns out that newer version are edited. Even some older VHS copies are edited! You need a VERY early version of hte movie to see the hanging man unedtied.

For all of you who believe it is a bird (Crane). You are all right and all wrong. If you have a copy of the movie that was bought within the last 15 to 20 years, then what you saw was a edited version intended to look like a crane opening it's wings. However the original version (which I am fortunate enough to have), clearly shows a man hanging himself next to ladder in the background. If you do not have this unedited version you can watch it over and over and you will still see the same thing. A large bird opening it's wings. In fact I also own the DVD version and it is clearly different from my original.

I'm sure this will be debated for ever until some video of the event is found.

But if people are claiming they own the original version why on Earth wouldn't they copy it to a digital format and post it for the world to see? I'm sure out of the hundreds on that site that claim to own it, someone would be tech savvy enough to be able to do this and prove it once and for all. Until then I really can't see how anyone could believe them.

I know in the movie Gladiator you could see some guy's cell phone hanging out of his pocket and this movie was supposed to have taken place way back when... when there was no cell phones lol. Not even a land line existed.

I've heard that you can supposedly see a Munchkin falling off a balcony (suicide attempt or a heroin overdose, from what I heard) in the background of the scene where Dorothy first arrives in the Land of Oz

Snopes doesn't mention it, so I have no idea if that's BS or not. They only mention the guy supposedly hanging himself in the background a little later on in the movie.

I remember seeing "Gettysburg" in the movie theatre and in one scene you could see a truck crosing over a bridge in the background. I also saw "Fatal Attraction" at an el-cheapo 1.00 movie theater and the film was skewed down about a foot and you could see all of the lighting and camera people hovering above the set(fake walls and all) and you could also see the guys with the mics moving back and forth between the actors. Even scenes outside,you got a good view of the guys moving the lights and mics. At first I though I was seeing things, then after about ten minutes I was sure I wasnt crazy. I laughed like a fool throughout the movie.
