OK, you're correct.
One is "P4M800PRO-M2(V2.0)"
Other one that Fry's is selling is "P4M800PRO-M(V2.0)"
Both seem to use the same bios.

idiocy - i have 8 of these motherboards in one of my media labs. they are stable. my nephews overclock a little and they have no problems with it. absolutely useless feedback with no support, as you see from the many other responses. absolutely useless ~

Just an FYI, this deal is dead in Houston. The employee there (found him at the mobos) said he never even heard of the combo. So i asked another and he said they were not only out of the e4300s but the deal was over.

Some have found that it won't go above 265MHz FSB. The "solution" is to do a BSEL mod, which will trick the board into defaulting to 266MHz FSB. After that, people have gotten this board/CPU combo to 300MHz FSB = 2.7GHz.

the deals only last anywhere between 2-5 days from the printed ad (depending on the date it was printed). the last day to actually buy this combo was Jan 30 2007

I got the M (v2.0) not the M2(v2.0). It was the frys deal in san diego. Did some people get the M2 model? Whats the diff between them? Anyway no new bios for my model Was hoping they would do better on power saving features. Also I suspect the temp is off. 12c at idle

Newer MB I think but you loose the ability to keep your old parts like agp vid and ddr1 mem. The old combo was great for an older system retrofit.
BTW its the e6400 for $209 in San Diego.
