lol ya that was what I was thinking too...get a cheap PSU and hide all the cables except the 4-pin molex connecters.

THat is a server case. IIRC it can use redundant PSU's. Also since it is server grade they are betting that you will have a quality PSU not 2 cheap ones.

Yes but even a quality PSU will not have enough connectors

if you were to fill all 10 3.5" bays that would be

10 3.5" Hard Drives
+2 5.5" CD/DVD Drives
+1 CPU Heatsink Fan
+1 All Case Fans (could chain to the CPU fan if u wanted)

So w/out splitters that's 13 or 14 molex connecters....i dont think any PSU has that many? Am I wrong?

you can easily modify a PSU to have as many molex as you need, as long as its 12v rail can handle it...

And it'ss possible to put 22HDDs in one of those.

Drive Bays: 7 x 5.25", 12 x 3.5" internal

How do you fit 22 HDDs? 12 in the 3.5 and get some 5.25 -> 3.5 converters... that makes 19. Where's the last one go? >:/

IDK of any PSU with that many drive connectors, but I would think that Lian Li will have provided something with the case to cover it.
. 2xCooler Master 4x3 boxes would allow for 20 HDs. 2x5-drive SATA hot-swap cages would allow for 22 HDs. Have to have some sort of staggered startup arrangement on all those drives though or you'd give the strongest PSU I know of (Zippy 700W) a hernia if all those drives try to start up at once... (Yeah, I know about the PCP&C 850, but they are still made of unobtainium.)

A LOT of new power supplies have 10 4-pin molex connectors. You can always buy Y adapters that splits one 4 pin into 2 if you have the juice.

I use Y splitters in my V2000. I'm running 5 hard drives, 3 optical drives, a sunbeam rheo, a 6800gt, and a few other miscellaneous things that take molex. Runs fine on a 430 truepower....

The man issue with these cases is cable length. Parallel ATA spec is 18 inches max, but I have to run 26 inch Antec cables for my 3 parallel drives in order to properly reach my IDE ports. The Raptors have no problems with 36 inch SATA cables, as that is within spec
