I just sent a message with an email client and received no footers.

Runbox is a new service so I would use caution and not use it as my primary address. Furthermore, they are located in Europe so your sends and receives may be a little slower.

I signed up, but didn't fool around with it too long--

I couldn't figure out how to add other e-mail accounts to it. For instance, if I want to add my Hotmail account, what do I put under "Server" when I'm adding it.

Did anyone do this successfully?

I thought Yahoo also use POP and SMTP server. It's free of charge. Don't understand why people go for another service?

Nah, I don't think so. From what I know, Yahoo is web based...

I been using Yahoo for several years. You can use it as web mail or POP3 mail. The only catch is you have to enable it in the option. They won't tell you that when you sign up. It will send you advertise email once of a while, like twice a month after you enable it.

I just checked and Runbox does not support Hotmail since they consider that Web-based, not Pop-based email.

Does Hotmail allow email forwarding?

Nice find and now I have 2 100MB storage free e-mails, the other site e247.com has 100MB storage as well and lets you transfer 25MB files. Now all my files (porn) is safe.

(drifting off topic) I'll second Yahoo for pop/smtp mail. I've had several ISPs fold/bought out so I use Yahoo almost exclusively for email. I haven't even used my latest ISP email! I also have a geocities web page, but don't like the popup ads.
