Really, I don't know why the West is making such a big deal out of what Putin is doing. Unfortunately our TV is just too full of anti-Russian propaganda. Ukraine is in chaos right now because the Western-Ukrainian Nazis has risen up and trying to overtake the country.

These people are masking the uprising under slogans of freedom and democracy, but indeed they are using the cover of chaos to target Jews. Already several synagogues across Ukraine have been vandalized or destroyed. Some Western-Ukrainians publicly said that they are proud of what the Nazis did to Jews during WWII. These people are monsters, and given free passage across Ukraine, they will maim and kill anyone friendly to Russia. The Eastern Ukraine asked Putin for help and protection, and Russia cannot sit idle. They sent in the cavalry to make sure Western-Nazis will not get to civilians and will not be able to impose their will.

Did you know that Western-Ukranian nationalists said that if they will take over Ukraine they will make sure no one can speak Russian in Ukraine? If they catch someone speaking Russian, that someone will be hurt, or worse.

No one has the right to tell people born in Soviet Union not to speak Russian. They have Russian in their blood.

For some reason, Western media is dismissing Western Nationalists as small, insignificant groups. On the contrary, these people have quite a bit of power, and they will see through their horrible plans if given a free pass.

I am sure you all seen teary eyed videos made by young Ukranian girls on You-Tube and Facebook begging United States for help, saying they want freedom and democracy so much, and their evil president, and now the Russians want to squash democracy in Ukraine... First of all, some of these videos are fake, and the ones that are not fake, well, those girls, and many Ukranian people genuinely want freedom and democracy. But really, no one is stopping them from getting their freedom and democracy except themselves. When people want freedom and democracy, peaceful protest is the way to do it. Not shooting and burning police officers. I am sure you seen on TV, the claims about Ukranian police killing civilians. Really it was the other way around. And the civilians that was killed are the nationalists who took up arms against police. They got what they deserved.

Putin does not have any desire to take over the world, fight America, or take over Ukraine. Such claims are ridiculous. Crimea was Russian territory for ages, and Russia has full right to it after spilling blood in wars with Turks, Prussians, and many others. Never mind that a few drunk politicians decided to give up Crimea to Ukraine when USSR collapsed.

Many are saying that Russia is breaking laws by protecting the pro-Russian populace of the Ukraine. Russia is "invading" Ukraine... But Mr. George Bush also broke many laws when he invaded, and completely destroyed Iraq essentially without asking anyone's permission. There was no WMDs in Iraq. No nuclear missiles. No chemical SCUDS. Yes, Saddam was a monster. But at least under Saddam, people weren't constantly blown up in the streets. There was some sort of order in the country. Was Saddam a bastard? No doubt he was. Should he have been executed like a dirty dog by a few soldiers? Absolutely not. He should have been tried and punished in accordance with international law.

I don't know if you're trolling or not, but you need to open your eyes and learn to think rationally. You criticize another nation's leader, but you ignore the fact that the United States has continuously bombed numerous countries since WWII. We go into foreign land with a false pretense and basically enforce genocide, distort their economy, assassinate their leader, establish hundreds of military bases in and around their land..(not because of "heroic" defensive purposes, but to guard the new resources that weren't even ours to begin with) and just leave (the president will make himself look good and state that he's finally pulling troops out) when the resources have depleted leaving the land in ruins..no economy, no hope for anyone.

IMO, this is about resources. 80% of the natural gas from Russia run through Ukraine. This post is all kinds of wrong. Russia is doing jack for the those in eastern Ukraine, they just grabbed the Crimea so that they can have the naval port on the Black Sea. It's a pure land grab. They tried it before when they saw the Ottoman Empire was weak, at that time they used Orthodox Christians as the excuse. Britain and France stepped in to stop them.

Korea showed how the US could take on huge numbers of Chinese and with only a slight advantage in weaponary hold them at bay.
