Presuming those can target Iran's flying mopeds, may be a very good use of inventory. Otherwise not too sure how much a medium range air-to-air missile is of use to Ukraine, they have basically zero air-to-air fights with Russian aircraft.Reportedly the US is going to provide AIM-7s in the next arms package but the platform for them is unspecified. While older and less sophisticated there is a large amount of these missiles that have to be closing in on disposal age so cost is minimal. Could be Mig-29s or the Buk I guess.
