wow.Sink every single Russian ship not docked in a Russian port.
Then consider the Russian ports.
Russia's navy must be destroyed.
Dmitry Medvedev: Russia now has free hand to destroy undersea communications cables
This is actually an improvement for Medvedev. Usually it’s all ‘the world will be cleansed in a sea of nuclear fire’ so threats to the internet are not so bad.
Ah, too slow today. Normally he's a walking Vodka distillery.Yeah he must not have had his customary liter of vodka yet. Downright sedate.
Had to look it up. Works like passive sonar, makes sense. Use existing ambient or not sources of noise/rf.Ukraine will receive VERA-NG units courtesy of the Dutch which look for emissions to surveil airspace.
With a max range of 450km they could also used to keep an eye on airspace deep inside Russia and Belarus.
And if they go around cutting lines, it would be.Sink every single Russian ship not docked in a Russian port.

Russian officials criticized the U.S. and allies on the decision to send Patriots, but said they wouldn’t be able to stop Russian missiles.
Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed the Patriot in December as “quite an old system.”
“Fine, let them deliver it,” he told reporters. “We’ll smack the Patriot as well.”
The Patriots arrived in Ukraine in April, a few weeks after Russia launched a barrage of dozens of missiles, including six Kinzhals, at Ukraine. On May 4, the Ukrainians used a Patriot system to down a Kinzhal.
The past week’s battles have also highlighted Russian forces’ problem of low morale, according to several Russian soldiers taken prisoner in recent days who spoke to The Wall Street Journal.
Several Russian soldiers taken prisoner near Velyka Novosilka, who spoke with the Journal at a detention facility, described their discontent with their commanders’ wasteful use of men and their fear of the Ukrainians’ new weaponry.
One of them, a Russian conscript from Vladivostok in Russia’s far east, said his unit knew exactly when the Ukrainians were coming, having intercepted radio traffic, but could do nothing about it. “Among ourselves, we were saying we won’t be able to withstand the counteroffensive,” he said.
The softly spoken former warehouse worker described a Ukrainian assault near the village of Staromaiorske with a trembling voice. First, mortars and artillery pounded their positions. When U.S.-made MaxxPro armored vehicles opened fire, “it was so intense that you couldn’t raise your head,” he said.
The men to his right fled. Those to his left had gone silent on the radio. He and three comrades remained in a trench. One of the men shot himself. The Vladivostok conscript and another man surrendered. As Ukrainian troops lay them on the ground and bound their hands, the fourth Russian attacked with hand grenades, wounding several Ukrainians before being killed, the Russian prisoner said.
“The combat spirit of fighters at the front line has fallen,” said a rifleman with Russian paramilitary group Storm Z. Russia tried to press its own offensive in Donetsk throughout the winter, but heavy casualties outweighed its meager territorial gains. “We were advancing by quantity, not by quality,” he said. “We were exchanging 10 of our lives for one of theirs.”

Can we still call them “volunteers”?This should be interesting.

ChatGPT 1.5’s retracted cousin Billy?Russia is going to examine all those captured Bradley and Leapord 2 tanks and see what they are dealing with. What a bozo move to dump these weapons on Ukraine but that's normal in the West. Dumb decision after dumb decision.
The Ukrainians are used to Soviet weapons, Soviet style of fighting and Soviet tactics. You cannot dump Western weapons, many of them old and maybe not in the best condition, and expect Ukrainians to learn to use them after a few weeks or even months. It takes years and years of constant training with many units to learn these things. Especially since these Western weapons require a lot of regular maintenance in the field. You are basically going to destroy these weapons in many ways - either through poor use due to very short training time, or through lack of maintenance or simply because the Ukrainians don't know how to use them effectively in coordination with other units. You cannot hand over a very complex weapon like that and expect the Ukrainians to use it effectively, pure and simple.
We are not even talking about the overwhelming Russian firepower here. It is ridiculous that the West is dumping what few weapons they have on Ukraine and then expecting the poor Ukrainians to effectively use those weapons. It is out of pure desperation it seems like. Also remember that the Western military industrial base is very small now and cannot produce weapons in large amounts. So the weapons that are sent to Ukraine might be it for a while, especially the European ones. But Portugal can pat itself on the back that its three Leapords are going to turn the tide.
