LOL! Pooh Bear must be paying by the post today. The entire Russian economy, oligarch looting and all, is a little over half the size of California's. The Russian indiustrial base is a hollowed out, rusted out Soviet leftover.
Wait, wait. Does California have trillions and trillions of dollars of commodities Russia has? You cannot compare these things directly. Despite the sanctions, Russia is doing OK. Maybe not great but OK. They have partners such as China, India and Brazil. And much of Africa. I could go on.

MBS? You sure like your violent psychopaths.
I don't like him or any of these guys. It doesn't change the fact that America is pushing him towards China.

The world is moving on and making deals.

Trillions in the ground that requires time and expertise to extract don't mean squat when you already started a war that is killing off the folks who should be home doing the extracting.

If the West wants to remain strong at the world stage, it must work with other parts of the globe, even if it disagrees with them politically or culturally. Biden has been making remarks about MBS so it's no surprise that Saudi Arabia is now pursuing an anti-American policy a little bit. I don't understand why America is pushing its allies away like that.
Since you’re not an American as far as I can tell I wouldn’t concern yourself with Biden’s diplomacy. Mind your own business.

Well, I care about the world and America's bully behavior is very reckless. The world has seen this for decades now. And this world is my business. Other parts of the world want to trade and live their lives, not to be bullied or lectured by the West.

Fair point but all it takes is some investments and it seems like that is already happening.

Russian oligarchs investing in Russia during a ruinous war? Hehe. I've got a yacht to sell you.
Since the West has suddenly and illegally blocked them or have taken their assets, where else would they invest their money? Plus you have China and maybe even India interested in investing in Russia well.

Ahh, so the west is smug when they tell other people what to do but you’re fine telling America what to do.

Why should Slavic cousins fight each other? It is terrible. War needs to be ended immediately.
War needs to be ended by fascist Russia pulling out of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova.

Countries should not be telling other countries what to do. Work towards mutual benefit, trade and help humanity. The West has a long, long history of terrible behavior at the world stage and it is still continuing to this day. That is why organizations such as the BRICS, SCO, ASEAN and others have formed. They need their own trading partners and allies without Western interference.

Zelensky and his minions may want to fight. The Eastern part of Ukraine, Dontesk and Luhansk regions, most likely have no desire to fight Russia. And many others probably harbor some cultural affinity towards Russia too. But when leaders drag people into these situations, what can they military men do? Not fight?

It seems like the West does not care about Ukrainian lives. I am not surprised, especially after the human tragedy of Iraq, Afghanistan and Syrian wars.
No country wants to fight Russia, they just don't want them attacking them.

You are right, war needs to end right now. Both sides need to come to the table and a deal by a neutral side must be negotiated. It has to be a fair deal for all parties.

Yes, Ukraine and Russia are cousins, no need to fight. Ukraine's governments since the 2014 Maidan coup have led their people down. This doesn't mean I support Russian invasion of Ukraine. War is wrong regardless.

As long as Ukraine gives up their land right? All of what was taken from them? And should they just trust that Russia won’t just take more later?

is it the medication you’re on or the medication you SHOULD be on?

You do support Russia keeping what they gained by invading though so… you do support it.

I don't know what the deal will be. It has to be negotiated. Both sides will find things they won't like but that's what it is.

The Russians decided there was a need to fight because Russia has a long history of invading its neighbors.

In the interests of peace it’s an important thing to teach Russia a lesson they will not forget for a long time. The destruction of their army will ensure they think twice before invading their neighbors again.

I am not part of the negotiating team so I don't know what the final terms will be. But both sides have to stop fighting immediately. No more Ukrainian or Russian lives lost.

Russia can have that happen tomorrow if they want, all they have to do is end the illegal invasion.

Any and all deaths in this war are Russia’s fault as they are the ones who started the war.

Is teaching Russia a lesson the key point of this whole war for the West? They are using Ukrainians as cannon fodder it seems. If you feel so strongly about Russia, go and attack them. Why use poor Ukrainians to do your fighting?

Negotiate peace. And all these bombs and Western depleted uranium cannot be good for Ukrainian soil in any shape or form. Ukraine has suffered enough.

No one is using Ukrainians for their fighting, Russia invaded Ukraine and the west is helping them defend themselves. If Ukraine doesn’t want to fight they don’t have to, but they do. Russia doesn’t like it they can leave Ukraine any time they want.

It’s good to destroy Russia’s army though as it means fewer Russian invasions in the future. What’s even better is we are wrecking their army with our castoff equipment and scraps. If the US wanted to we could obliterate the entire Russian army, so you should be thankful for our restraint.
