How upset Moscow is at a series of events can generally be gauged by the size and type of their aerial attacks on Ukraine.

Since Iskander, Kinzhal, and Kalibur are all flying tonight I think they're more than a little peeved at what Storm Shadow is doing to Crimea and the USVs to their ships.

No blowing holes amidship, took out the bridge, excellent. I wonder if the engine room hit created any serious damage to the hull below the water line. As long as the storage tanks aren't breached that was a sweet hit. Will take Russia years to get her back up, and the damage done to the outlook of insurers was immediate. Ukraine is getting good at this.

I wish they had a Kilo or three of their own. Maybe we'll see some kind of marine drone that packs a single light weight torpedo, who knows. I just hope the Russians continue this trend of having their vessels become either hobbled resource holes or artificial reefs. A mix of both ideally.

They've been using explosives as surgical knives all across Ukraine and Russia for months now. I can't wait for stuff to get declassified to find out how much damage they did with such minimal ordnance.

Reminds me of that quote I heard somewhere that went something like "There's not much more you can do for winning an argument than employing the use of high explosives."

You call this giving your life? I call it kidnapping. These people don’t want to fight anymore. They’re sick of it, they’re sick of the war. This western narrative that Ukrainians are bravely fighting for their country and lining to join the fight is nothing but propaganda. Imagine living in a country where at any given moment these kidnappers(whose salaries are being paid by US taxpayers) can just scoop you up, throw you into a van and send you to a certain death.

Every country in the world would conscript to defend itself. The difference is Russia is conscripting it's people for an offensive war of choice.

Stop responding to trolls. Especially when you can't make such arguments without serious egg on your face (Vietnam War...).

Like I said, this isn't conscripting. This is kidnapping. There is a difference between the two.

BTW, you think any of these Ukrainian government bureaucrats are conscripting their own children? Of course not, it's always the peasants who get kidnapped, thrown into a van, and get mined/bombed/droned to death. I don't blame them for resisting just by looking at the strategy, which appears to be sending troops into open, heavily mined fields with zero air support.

Seems China spits venom if Chinese are denied access to cross into Russia.
Guess there is a no limits access for Chinese prospecting on their soon-to-be new land.

Chinese embassy slams Moscow over Russian border incident

The incident is “inconsistent with the overall situation of friendly Sino-Russian relations and the trend of increasingly close friendly exchanges of personnel between the two countries,” added the embassy. “The Russian side is required to immediately find out the cause of the incident, take active measures to eliminate the bad influence, and ensure that similar incidents will not recur in the future.”

You mean like how Russia kidnapped Ukrainian children and brought them to Russia? Let me guess that never happened?

It doesn't matter how many times you repeat being wrong, you're still wrong.

But once again, you've described Russian behavior and are trying to smear Ukrainians with it. Perhaps you've noticed there aren't any Ukrainians setting recruitment centers on fire, or shooting recruiters. Can't let that get in the way though right? Where is Peskov's son serving? Which fashion photo shoot is Solovyov's son guarding from the nazis of your fever dreams? Shoigu's daughter is throwing parties in Dubai, I hear lots of wealthy Russians have been livin it up in the Seychelles and Maldives. You should buy a clue.

Meanwhile, the overwhelming majority of Ukrainians pledge to fight until victory. Once again your lies are cancelled out by the truth in Ukraine, but that won't stop your fervent Russian ass licking, will it? You've got a job to fail at after all.

Russian behavior that I am trying to smear Ukrainians with? No I posted videos of actual Ukrainians kidnapping people. That is not a smear. That is factual. Also, you don’t seem Ukrainians setting recruitment centers on fire because guess what? They don’t exist. No one is signing up to volunteer to fight for Ukraine, which is why they have resorted to kidnapping and hiring mercenaries.

Secondly, what Shoigu or Peskovs children do is irrelevant because Russia doesn’t have a recruiting problem. They’re also winning.

BTW, I read yesterday that of the 28 pilots who were selected for F16 training, only 8 of them speak enough English to get training. So is the plan to have 8 pilots take on the entire Russian Air Force? You can’t make this stuff up.

When this is all over, the US will try to make Zelensky the fall guy but in reality it is the fault of the US. It is clear they thought they could grind the Russian military down with an endless supply of munitions, thinking that somehow Russia wouldn’t be able to keep up. Anyone remember this nonsense?

It is amateur hour in the Biden White House.

This is factually incorrect. There are recruitment centers in Ukraine and there are massive amounts of recruits who voluntarily fight for their homeland. There are also large amounts of volunteers from other nations, including Belarus and Russia that have chosen to fight for Ukraine's freedom.

Are there abuses? Yes. Zelenskiy himself has called them out and is working on replacing/punishing those involved. Do you know where these abuses happened? In RECRUITING CENTERS that you lyingly claim don't exist. Can you say the same for Russia's abuses? I'm going to go ahead and say it: "both sides do it". One side seems intent on punishing and correcting the wrong. The other side seems intent on rewarding the wrong.

20some need about a month of language training. Since Ukraine isn’t going to give up more than say 10 at a time to flight training on the F16 this is basically irrelevant.

Why are they kidnapping people bud? You don’t need to do this stuff when people are lining up to fight Russia. Right? Right. It’s also a bad strategy because these people who get forced into the frontline and end up surrendering, not to mention giving up all of their equipment to Russians that YOU paid for.

Notice the MANPADS in the truck you guys were excited about Ukraine getting a few months ago. Now property of the Russian Federation.

First it was a spring counteroffensive. Than a summer counteroffensive. Then when the counteroffensive starts, it didn’t really start it was just Ukraine ‘probing’ for weaknesses. Apparently, now it has REALLY started and we’re two months into it and they’re fighting Russia for villages and haven’t broken Russia’s first line of defense. Can you name me one area where Ukraine has a military advantage? Planes? Nope. Ships? Nope. Drones? Nope. Munitions? Nope. Manpower? Nope.

And you guys want to keep this shitshow going so Russia can continue grinding down Ukraine military, all so Russia can launch another offensive in the future? What’s funny is I can remember certain posters in this thread claiming the battle of Bahkmut was so the Ukrainian military could grind down Russia military for their spring ‘counteroffensive’. How’s that working out for you? Pretty clear to me the opposite is happening.

Bravo! I've seen some mighty fine projecting going on in this forum, but by golly gee whiz, you've outdone the best of what the magats have been tossing around in this forum since Trump started the ball rolling for them. Now if you could only explain why Putin hasn't overrun Ukraine by now with what you've been inferring to here, well I'd even be tempted to give a quadrillionth of a microgram of shit of what you've been shit posting on and on about. BTW, so how's that three day special military operation of yours going so far? How's that working out for you? Made any significant gains in this regard that you'd like to share with us? lol

Here’s something you’re going to find hilarious, as someone who claims to only want peace and to oppose imperialism. (You are of course lying and we know this)

By the way the odds you answer this are near zero but if you do I imagine you will claim kremlin propaganda doesn’t realy speak for Russia.

First rule of the Russian Empire, is you do not speak of the Russian Empire.
The Orcs here simply repeat, on infinite loop, their slanderous propaganda to attack Ukraine.
They only exist to help the Russian Genocide of the Ukrainian people.

And THAT is why democracy is so powerful. We can actually go into the streets and change the direction of policy, foreign policy, towards peace. In an anti democratic regime? Not so much.

Unknown cause, possibly related?
While accidents can and do happen, this was one heck of a detonation of some port city grain silos in Turkey.....
Adds to the pressure of Russia intentionally targeting grain silos in Ukrainian ports.

Food prices not having a good year.
The small amount of smoke at the beginning tells me it was ready to blow / self detonate. No telling if a human lit the initial spark. Slips my mind that these things can be / are highly explosive. Is it mismanagement for them to even be explosive, or do such atmospheric conditions inside the silos help keep the food preserved?

Video via Twitter.
