Just how bad is Russian logistics? Terrible. A good short thread;

I would expect North Korea to supply Russia with logistics vehicles as well if they are shipping artillery pieces.
The reason why Russia invades their neighbors is because no sane person would want to live there otherwise.

The reason why those countries joined NATO is not out of a love of western decadence, it’s because they knew the degenerate crazies would invade them.

When North Korea needs to bail you out I think its safe to say you've fucked up pretty bad.

Anyway if this causes SK to lift its arms transfer limitations then Russia is likely to live to regret it.

I don't think that is in the same category.

Look around your house and make sure you don't have anything with a "Made In China" label on it before casting any stones.

I agree with you on china not being truthful with their plans.

But I am talking about the president of the United States running his private business while he is in office.

Then you have his family who were working in the White House also doing deals with china and getting preferential treatment on patents.

Now for a ex president bragging how well he did on jobs if he really cared he would have moved his products to be built in the USA.

Btw. Bidens hats are made in the USA by unions workers

I do realize that we all buy some stuff from china. But I will spend a few dollars more to buy stuff from the USA or reasonable other countries.

FP article on how our sanctions on Russian oil exports are squeezing Putin's war plans.

"We estimate these price cap-driven expenses add an extra roughly $36 per barrel in transaction costs, eating into the oil profits that Putin would have otherwise funneled toward funding his invasion of Ukraine, on top of the fact that Russia is already the least economical oil producer. According to Saudi Aramco, the fiscal breakeven for drilling Russian oil is a whopping $44 per barrel, twice as much as the cost of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Iran, and other major oil producers.

So between his elevated breakeven cost of $44 per barrel to drill oil and price-cap driven expenses of $36 per barrel to get that oil to market, Putin might not draw much profits until Russian oil prices surpass $80 per barrel. Unfortunately for Putin, even though Russian oil prices have increased, they still trade at a meaningful discount to global oil benchmarks, with Russian Urals oil trading at around $15 less than Brent and Russian ESPO oil trading at around $7 less than Brent, suggesting that Putin is hardly swimming in excess profits with Russian oil selling around $80. Russian Urals is the benchmark for Russian oil traded from its western ports on the Baltic, while Russian ESPO is the benchmark for Russian oil sold to Asia via the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean pipeline.

Stronger enforcement of the price cap will only add to these expenses and further erode Putin’s profit margin moving forward. Better that Putin fund tankers rather than tanks."

^^^ If you can access the article it outlines in detail how they arrived at the extra $36 per barrel in transaction costs.

It would be better if no one responded to it. This thread has become tedious.

Your opinion. Mine still is: it's better for all to see fascist genocide promoters exposed as brain dead liars. Weak as shit talking points from trolls deserve to die in laughter. It tends to prevent other laymen from picking them up and acting like they're legit. Have you noticed how the ranks of the afflicted have dwindled to pretty much just dipshit now? Same thing as not letting magats use their own facts, and they've been laughed out of this entire forum for the most part. Off to their safe spaces where logic, ethics and history don't matter.

If that's tedium for you, that's fine I get it, but no one is forcing you to click the link for this thread.

BRUSSELS — As Ukrainian forces press ahead with their closely-watched counteroffensive, another battle is underway: the fight to control the story and influence how the world sees the war.

After much hand-wringing about slow progress and grim assessments of Ukraine’s prospects through the summer, Ukrainian and Western officials in recent weeks have focused on reshaping the narrative to manage expectations and shore up support through the winter.

Translation = Guys please stop telling the truth about how this war is really going. We know the counteroffensive has been a huge failure. We know Ukraine has actually lost more territory during the counteroffensive. We know the sanctions have failed to crater Russias economy. We know average Ukrainians are now being kidnapped and thrown into the front line without proper training. We know they’re are surrendering en massse.

But ughh, Democracy!

Pathetic.

Haha, always fun to see a fan of state media and fascist propaganda act like he gives a shit about democracy, or journalism. Cyka, we've been over this - you're no translator. That's a role that requires an education, a respect for facts and of course some empathy. You possess none of those, and there are several hundred pages in this thread that prove it.

No, you're more of a 'human bidet service' really. If anyone needs to know what Putler's ass tastes like, we'll tell them where to find you, cool?

"We know average Ukrainians are now being kidnapped and thrown into the front line without proper training. We know they’re are surrendering en massse." lmao

Still fapping away over your kidnapping thing huh? While Russia is the one kidnapping Ukrainian adults and children. Now Ukrainians are surrendering en masse, eh? Your deseprate addiction to Kremlin fantasy would be clinically interesting if it weren't for the cheerleading of warcrimes. Russians are the ones refusing to fight, you don't see that with the Ukrainians.

Russia is losing hundreds of soldiers to Ukraine's I Want To Live campaign. Had to bring in the "discipline brigades" to help provide more motivational beatings and bullets to the backs of those who won't fight, or worse, try to surrender. And so predictably, this has you trying to reverse the actual situation. Sad.

I was wrong, it's not just beatings and the threat of execution. Apparently they are also tied to a tree for a few days sometimes.

"The morale of Russian front-line troops is low because they are widely used as so-called artillery meat. No one wants to be on the frontline and Russians are using former prisoners. ‘Prigozhin and his Wagner group were pioneers of the process. After his death the Russian Ministry of Defence is using the same tactic with the Storm-Z battalions. Ukraine is experiencing a growth in a number of prisoners of war who were Russian criminals of the lower level of hierarchy.’

Alfyorov, however, was said by the CHDPW to be a ‘career officer’ and a Moscow Higher Military Command School graduate who had commanded a platoon on the right bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region.

Appearing in videos recorded at a press conference, he described the brutal treatment meted out by the Russian military to troops who were disillusioned or showed dissent. Alfyorov said such people faced being ‘thrown into a pit’ and ‘tied to trees for several days’.

Meanwhile, lots of wounded Ukrainians skip the hospital soon as they can to rejoin their units. They have entire brigades that are completely made up of previously wounded fighters. They get paid, they get rotated, they get medical care, which is why they have no need to resort to the Russian tactics of kidnapping, abuse, or murder. Anyone with a shred of intellectual honesty should be able to understand this.

Is your currency basically uncomfortable toilet paper?

Are significant portions of your military either dead or in no mood to fight?

Are you training children in the use of rifles and grenades?

Do you beg 3rd world countries for weapons and ammo?

Are you a global pariah with few prospects, failing infrastructure and demographic disaster looming?

If so, ask your doctor if Copium is right for you. They may be able to suggest other treatments for Russian Victory as well. But probably not.

I hope so. The small group of moronic repubs that demanded the removal of those funds from the CR just boggles my mind. Russian propaganda amongst the MAGA crowd seems implacable.

Reportedly Netanyahu has asked Biden for emergency funding for Tamir interceptors that are fired from Iron Dome. Senate should come back and compile an emergency supplemental for this and Ukraine then jam the House with it. Temp speaker can act if they decide he can, otherwise amend the discharge petition and get it to the floor.

They sure are:

The Russians even have a radio frequency they share via leaflets:

Russia has lost over 50% of the territory it took when they started their illegal invasion and you’re trying to convince yourself they are winning.

lol. The cope is so strong, and so sad.

Pretty convenient coalescing of events. Much more support for Israel and Taiwan (really anti-China sentiment). Thankfully, the Biden administration has some very capable people in it.
