If Trump was President Russia never would have attacked Ukraine. Also Hamas wouldn't have attacked Israel. All the bad guys in America would have reverently become good guys out of fear and respect of Trump. I've heard that cold fusion will instantly give up its secrets that it has been withholding from humanity until we become good enough to elect Trump as president.

The aliens, waiting patiently for lord and savior Trump, will make first contact with Earth and immediately and gratefully surrender their societies and resources and technology to Trump in order to fight wokeness throughout the galaxy. Once that is accomplished, Purrgils will arrive and transport Trump to other galaxies to continue to fight wokeness throughout the entire universe.
Can't we do the very last bit first? Even without the Purrgils' help?

Ooh yea that’s the good stuff. Definitely M39A1. Unclear how many frames the nailed but RU channels are beyond despondent so likely quite a few. Love that they did not bother to protect or move their choppers even though they knew Ukraine was receiving these.

The Russians keep ignoring the threat until they are hit with the new weapons. I'm somewhat baffled by this level of incompetence.

There is probably a lot of pressure to maintain aviation support for the frontline in Zapo so I guess they just decided to roll the dice that ATACMS or GLSDB would not show up or be so effective if it did. They should have moved to Yeysk even if availability was going to take a hit due to the extra distance. Now they've lost a bunch of airframes and potentially crews and have to move anyway.

A lot of that can be offset by immigration. The problem for Russia and China is nobody wants to immigrate there. The problem for Japan, which is presumably more solvable, is they don’t want anyone immigrating there.

I think with China it's also that, given the size of the country and the scale of the issue, it would be hard to attract sufficient migrants to make a difference. The system seems like it was dependent on a kind of internal migration to keep going. Not sure what's going to happen as that dries up.

Also seems as if it was partly self-inflicted by continuing the one child policy for too long. Russia's was self-inflicted in a much more complicated way.

And in problems likely quite familiar to any owners of older German cars the Gepards have a chronic electrical issue with some components burning out. It doesn't put the gun out of service but renders it less effective.

Ukraine could make replacements on their own if they had the schematics but either the Germans won't give them or more possibly don't have them anymore. There was a huge lack of technical documentation available when KMW started overhauling these. So for now they have to rely on sourced spares.

Err whut? Pull the old PCB and just copy it. I doubt there is any custom chips involved. Or just replace the transistors

I'm sure this has occurred to the Ukrainians. They have copied and made replacement components for lots of their donated systems when needed even lacking specs but it seems like there is some kind of hitch with these.

While of course I don't have access to the details if they're saying it's a power supply burning out that is, generally speaking, not a complicated module to replicate. You wouldn't even need the schematics, just need to replicate the voltage/amps on whatever lines are coming out of it.

As a BMW owner who's done a little bit of work on my cars the words I've always thought and usually came to regret are "how hard could it be?".

Without seeing what specific problem they are up against it's difficult to tell if the fix is that easy. If they haven't managed it yet I think it's trickier than the description may indicate.

Again, I don't know the specifics, but as someone who fixed high end defense electronics professionally for several years in my experience power supplies were among the easiest parts to fix, at least from a diagnosis/troubleshooting perspective.

It could be a parts issue where maybe some components aren't in production anymore or whatever of course.

We still have some old space shuttles. Maybe we can paint one of them to look like a Purrgil and tell him it is here to help him save the universe. They we can send him away on his mission.

Knowing my luck, he somehow returns in 10 years after successfully ridding the universe of wokism. And he brings back Thrawn and some witches of Dathomir.
